摘要: A fuel cell system configured to prevent fuel cell freezing is disclosed. The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell, a reformer in fluid communication with the fuel cell, the reformer including a reactor and a heat feeding unit. A moisture supplying pipe is in fluid communication with the reformer and a reformer exhausting pipe is in fluid communication with the reformer. The reformer exhaust pipe is in fluid communication with the moisture supplying pipe and configured to pass high temperature gas discharged from the reformer exhaust pipe to the moisture supplying pipe. The fuel cell system may remove moisture in the fuel cell and may also prevent the moisture from freezing by using thermal energy generated during operation of the heat feeding unit.

摘要: There is provided a preferential oxidation reactor having excellent carbon monoxide reducing performance while providing for self-ignition of mixed hydrogen gas. The preferential oxidation reactor includes: a first reaction unit including a first internal space connected with a first opening portion and a first catalyst capable of spontaneously igniting hydrogen mixed gas at a predetermined atmospheric temperature of the first internal space; a second reaction unit including a second internal space connected to a second opening portion and a second catalyst contained in the second internal space; and a separation layer that is positioned between the first and second catalysts so as to separate the first catalyst and the second catalyst from each other and which connects the first internal space and the second internal space to each other to be in fluid communication.

摘要: A catalytic combustor which can prevent spark ignition pollution without increasing the pressure in the catalytic combustor through structural isolation between a chamber and an igniter, and a fuel reformer having the same are disclosed. A catalytic combustor may include a housing having a cylindrical chamber, a first opening disposed at one end part of the chamber, a second opening for discharging an exhaust in the chamber, and an auxiliary channel for connecting the chamber and the second opening. A catalyst may be disposed in the chamber. When the length direction of the chamber corresponds to a gravitational direction, an igniter may be disposed apart from a virtual extension volume of the chamber extending in the gravitational direction and positioned at a lower portion of the housing.

摘要: A fuel cell system that effectively processes a flue gas generated from a heat source of a fuel reforming apparatus. The fuel reforming apparatus generates a reforming gas containing hydrogen through a reformation reaction of the fuel from a fuel supply, and a fuel cell main body generates electrical energy through an electrochemical reaction of the reforming gas with an oxidizing agent. The fuel reforming apparatus includes a reforming reaction part and a heat source. The reforming reaction part induces a reforming reaction in the fuel, and the heat source provides heat energy to the reforming reaction part. A flue gas postprocessor induces an oxidation-reduction reaction in a flue gas exhausted by a combustion reaction of the heat source to decrease toxic ingredients, such as CO, hydrocarbons, and NOx, in the flue gas.
