摘要: The invention relates to a diesel oxidation catalyst which has a support body with a length L extending between a first end face a and a second end face b and catalytically active material zones A, B, and C arranged on the support body, wherein—material zone A contains palladium or platinum and palladium in a weight ratio of Pt:Pd of ≤1 and an alkaline earth metal and extends over 20 to 80% of the length L starting from the end face a, material zone B contains ceroxide, is free of platinum, and extends over 20 to 80% of the length L starting from the end face b, material zone C contains platinum or platinum and palladium in a weight ratio of Pt:Pd of ≥5, and neither material zone A nor material zone C is arranged over material zone B.

摘要: The present invention addresses the problem and purpose of providing a honeycomb structure that has a sufficiently high strength and is excellent in endurance, and a catalyst for cleaning an exhaust gas using the same that is excellent in resistance to sulfur oxide (SOX). The honeycomb structure of the present invention is one consists of a flat inorganic fiber sheet comprising an inorganic fiber sheet having supported thereon an inorganic binder and zeolite, and a corrugated inorganic fiber sheet comprising an inorganic fiber sheet having supported thereon the same inorganic binder and zeolite, which are alternately combined with each other, wherein it is characterized in that the zeolite has a particle diameter (i.e., a median particle diameter, D50) of from 0.5 to 10.0 μm.

摘要: A catalyst for purification of exhaust gas, wherein a substrate and a catalyst coat layer which is formed on a surface of the substrate and which comprises catalyst particles, wherein the catalyst coat layer has an average thickness in a range of 25 to 160 μm, and a void fraction in a range of 50 to 80% by volume as measured by a weight-in-water method, 0.5 to 50% by volume of all voids in the catalyst coat layer consist of high-aspect ratio pores which have equivalent circle diameters in a range of 2 to 50 μm in a cross-sectional image of a cross-section of the catalyst coat layer which the cross-section is perpendicular to a flow direction of exhaust gas in the substrate, and which have aspect ratios of 5 or higher, and the high-aspect ratio pores have an average aspect ratio in a range of 10 to 50.

摘要: The present invention relates to an oxidation catalyst, a method for preparing the same, and a filter for exhaust gas purification comprising the same and, more specifically, to an oxidation catalyst, a method for preparing the same, and a filter for exhaust gas purification comprising the same, the oxidation catalyst being formed by comprising an amorphous metal alloy powder, thereby being preparable at a low cost, being capable of enhancing purification efficiency for exhaust gas when applied to the filter for exhaust gas purification, and being capable of deriving reliability enhancement for operation of an exhaust gas purifier having the filter for exhaust gas purification mounted therein. To this end, the present invention provides an oxidation catalyst, a method for preparing the same, and a filter for exhaust gas purification comprising the same, the oxidation catalyst characterized by being coated onto the carrier surface of the filter for exhaust gas purification and being formed by comprising an amorphous metal alloy powder.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to micron-sized particle used for catalyzing and storing NOx gases, such as those found in vehicle exhaust emissions, washcoats employing micron-sized particle used for catalyzing and storing NOx gases, washcoat coated substrates, lean NOx trap (LNT) systems, and vehicles using such systems. Also provided are methods of preparing micron-sized particle used for catalyzing and storing NOx gases, as well as preparation of washcoats and coated substrates. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a lean NOx trapping materials, wherein the materials include a NOx catalytic component attached to a micron-sized carrier particle and a NOx storage component, as well as washcoats and coated substrates useful in the treatment of exhaust gases. In some embodiments, a portion of the NOx storage component is attached to the micron-sized carrier particle.

摘要: Provided are automotive catalyst composites having a catalytic material on a carrier, wherein the catalytic material comprises at least two layers. The first layer is deposited directly on the carrier and comprises a first palladium component supported on a first refractory metal oxide component, a first oxygen storage component, or a combination thereof. The second layer is deposited on top of the first layer and comprises a rhodium component supported on a second refractory metal oxide component and a second palladium component supported on a second oxygen storage component, a third refractory metal oxide component or a combination thereof. Generally these catalyst composites are used as three-way conversion (TWC) catalysts. Methods of making and using the same are also provided.

摘要: When the amount of coating is increased in a two-layer catalyst or the like containing two noble metals in respective different layers, gas diffusivity in the catalyst and use efficiency of a catalytic active site are reduced to thereby reduce purification performance. In view of this, an organic fiber having a predetermined shape is used as a pore-forming material in formation of an uppermost catalyst coating layer of a multi-layer catalyst, to thereby form an uppermost catalyst coating layer having a high-aspect-ratio pore excellent in connectivity and therefore excellent gas diffusivity.
