    摘要: A method of and a system for establishing presence of a mobile station in at least one dedicated service area of a mobile telecommunications system providing service to a plurality of geographically spread service areas. A mobile station is triggered to provide location information relating to the presence of the mobile station at a location receiving service from a service area comprising the or each dedicated service area. Presence of the mobile station in the or each dedicated service area is established by comparing the location information provided by the mobile station and stored location information relating to the or each dedicated service area. If present in a dedicated service area, the mobile station automatically receives dedicated services to which the mobile unit is entitled to. Receipt of dedicated services is automatically indicated to a user of the mobile station.

    摘要: Combinational networks may provide simultaneous connectivity over networks of different type between User Equipment of an A-party and B-party. A communication session, comprising a circuit switched call and one or more packet switched sessions, may be deployed simultaneously over different network types, in relation to the same User Equipment. The circuit switched call and the packet switched session may be correlated. As to retrieve the packet switched address of a circuit switched call partner, a retrieval for a packet switched network address is initialized by means of a circuit switched protocol over a circuit switched network. The address retrieval request is directed to the call partner or a network node that accomplishes the network address request.

    摘要: Combinational networks may provide simultaneous connectivity over networks of different type between terminals. Communication sessions on different network types such as Circuit switched and Packet switched, belonging to the same user equipment can be correlated. In case a communication session on a circuit switched network is halted by a supplementary service e.g. at an event such as acceptance of Call Hold, a communication session on a correlated packet switched network should be halted as well. A user equipment that detects the event sends a halt message to the circuit switched network and a message to the packet switched network or a session state manager node. The session state manager node either forwards the halt-message to the packet switched network, or sends a halt-message to the packet switched network when the packet switched network does not notify that a halt has occurred.

    摘要: A method and apparatus in a packet-switched communication network for controlling Quality of Service (QoS) for a packet-switched data stream that includes a plurality of contiguous data packages. The network normally provides the data stream to users at a first QoS level. When it is determined that a receiving user is not authorized to receive the data stream at the first QoS level, the apparatus intercepts the data stream prior to receipt by the receiving user and extracts selected data packages from the data stream to reduce the QoS level for the data stream to a lower, second QoS level to match an authorization status of the receiving user. The apparatus then forwards to the receiving user, a modified data stream with the lower, second QoS level.
