An ownership module transfers ownership of the communications medium from the first controller to the second controller. The ownership module may transfer ownership in response to the first controller successfully receiving the digital instruction instance. A request module requests a retransmission of the digital instruction instance, and may request the retransmission in response to the transfer of ownership of the communications medium. The second controller receives the retransmitted digital instruction instance in response to the retransmission request.

The apparatus includes a routing module, a receiving module, and a forwarding module. The routing module routes communications between a redundant hardware controller and a service processor associated with a flash update. The receiving module receives a flash command for the flash update from the service processor via a shared serial connection. The forwarding module forwards the flash command via a dedicated point to point connection to the redundant hardware controller configured to receive the flash command over the point to point connection. The apparatus, system, and method provide a non-interruptive overlay of the firmware image on a redundant hardware controller, minimizing system downtime and user intervention.

The present invention provides a method for simulating daylight performance of buildings based on regional daylight climate data. The method comprises the steps of: establishing a regional sky luminance distribution database from measured data; mapping sky luminance data to an artificial sky lamp group; using a 3D printing machine to fabricate a scaled physical model based on real parameters of the building to be simulated; and using the scaled physical model in the artificial sky integrated with regional sky luminance distribution data to make the daylight performance simulation. This method can achieve high-precision simulation of the daylight performance of buildings by using regional sky daylight climate data with a highly accurate physical model of the building.

The current invention discloses methods to treat disease caused by virus infection, bacterial infection, parasites infection, autoimmune disease, disease caused by production of unwanted antibodies, sepsis as well as methods to treat cancer and methods for virus infection detection using blood purification method. The current invention provides a method to treat pathogen infection by inactivating the pathogens in the blood. During the treatment, blood is withdrawn from a patient and is separated into its plasma and cellular components. The plasma portion is treated with physical means such as UV radiation to inactivate the pathogens inside and then is returned to the patient. The current invention also provide a method to treat cancer especially to prevent tumor metastasis and tumor recurrence by removing and/or inactivating (e.g. killing) the circulating tumor cells (CTC) in the blood after removing the tumor or treating the tumor with therapeutical means.
