摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein may be used to provide aerodynamic quarter fender assemblies. Panels may be rigidly or hingedly attached to existing quarter fenders or may be used in lieu of an existing quarter fender. Embodiments may provide improved fluid flow control across the transition zone between the tractor and the trailer, but may be easily moved into a stowed position to allow access to areas of the truck.

摘要: A simple device that enables twisted fishing line to be easily untwisted is disclosed. The device comprises a shaft surrounded with a helical groove or channel around which fishing line passes while being loaded onto a fishing reel. The helical grooves or channels remove twist from the fishing line caused by a rotating bail on a fixed spool reel. The device can be used with any reel, but is particularly well adapted for fixed spool spinning or fixed spool spin-cast reels.

摘要: The inventive ablation element comprises an elongated cannula having a proximal end and a distal end. The cannula defines an internal lumen within the cannula and a cannula axis. A plurality of conductors contained within the lumen, each of the conductors has a proximal end proximate the proximal end of the cannula, and a distal end proximate the distal end of the cannula. A plurality of ablation stylets each has a proximal end and a distal end, and each coupled at the respective proximal end of the stylet to the distal end of a respective conductor, the stylets comprise a deflectable material, the conductors together with their respective stylets being mounted for axial movement. A trocar point defined proximate the distal end of the cannula. A deflection surface positioned between the trocar point and the proximal end of the cannula, the deflection surface being configured and positioned to deflect, in response to axial movement of the stylets in a direction from the proximate end of the cannula to the distal end of the cannula, at least some of the stylets laterally with respect to the cannula axis in different directions along substantially straight paths, the paths defining an ablation volume.

摘要: A hybrid receiver apparatus, a method, and a computer readable storage media encoded with a program are provided. The hybrid receiver apparatus a first receiver processor and a second receiver processor and a signal input by the hybrid receiver apparatus is processed by both the first receiver processor and the second receiver processor. The hybrid receiver apparatus includes a combiner unit combining data output from the first receiver processor with data output from the second receiver processor based on a weight values assigned to the data.

摘要: Embodiments of an Array CT scanning system for x-ray scanning objects (e.g., scanning airline baggage, packages, and cargo) can include a conveyor configured to transport baggage through a tunnel, a bottom mounted x-ray source configured to provide five fan beams through the tunnel, a side mounted x-ray source disposed at a height higher than the conveyor and configured to provide a fan beam through the tunnel, and a plurality of detectors disposed across the arcs of each of the fan beams. An image processing system can be configured to provide 3D type images of a scanned bag as a function of the information received from the detectors. The images can be derived through interpolation of the scan data. An operator can manipulate the image data and partially rotate the bag to discern objects located within. A side tray is provided to allow an operator to remove a suspect bag from an operational flow of bags. Image information can be stored for subsequent review. Multiple scanners can be networked together such that image and passenger information can be transferred to other workstations.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for providing various types of information to a vehicle driver. Such information can be used by the vehicle driver singularly or in conjunction with other information available to the vehicle driver in order to allow the driver to operate the vehicle in an increasingly safe manner and/or to reduce the likelihood of property damage and/or possible bodily injuries to the driver, etc. In some instances, such information is presented to the driver as an augmented reality environment such that the driver can “see through” objects that may be occluding the driver's vision.
