The method includes storing information of an AP as profile information, determining whether profile information of an accessed AP is stored in the mobile terminal when the mobile terminal accesses the AP, and logging in to the accessed AP based on the stored profile information.

A Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) terminal and tethering service providing method for the same are provided. The WLAN terminal supporting a mobile infrastructure mode effectively provides a tethering service to external devices by managing external devices using an operating device list and a waiting device list. The method includes: receiving a connection request from a device, determining whether an operating device list is full, adding the device to the operating device list when the operating device list is not full, providing a tethering service to the device, determining whether a waiting device list is full when the operating device list is full, adding the device to the waiting device list when the waiting device list is not full, and permitting connection of the device and preventing the device from receiving a tethering service, and rejecting the connection request when the waiting device list is full.

The backlight unit includes a light guiding plate, a light source module including a substrate provided with a circuit wiring and a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) blocks each including one or more LED mounted on the substrate to be positioned vertically with respect to the substrate, the one or more LED being disposed to face a side surface of the light guiding plate, a bottom chassis including a base and a sidewall upwardly extending from a circumference of the base, and accommodating the light source module and the light guiding plate in such a manner that the one or more LED is disposed to be adjacent to the sidewall, and a driving unit controlling a current signal applied to each of the plurality of LED blocks to thereby control brightness for each LED block.

Provided are a structure and fabricating method of a new inverter for controlling a threshold voltage of each location when an inverter circuit is manufactured using an organic semiconductor on a plastic substrate.In general, p-type organic semiconductor is stable. Accordingly, when the inverter is formed of only the p-type semiconductor, a D-inverter composed of a depletion load and an enhancement driver has large gains, wide swing width and low power consumption, which is more preferable than an E-inverter composed of an enhancement load and an enhancement driver. However, it is impossible to form a depletion transistor and an enhancement transistor on the same substrate while controlling them by locations.To overcome such a difficulty, the structure of the inverter in which a bottom gate organic semiconductor transistor showing enhancement type characteristics is used as a driver transistor, and a top gate organic semiconductor transistor showing depletion type characteristics is used as a load transistor, and a manufacturing method thereof are proposed. According to this structure, a passivation effect of an organic semiconductor may be additionally obtained by a second insulating layer and a second gate electrode material which are on top of the organic semiconductor, and a high degree of integration may also be improved.

The method includes receiving a command for executing a modified P2P device discovery mode, configuring the Wi-Fi P2P device as a group owner autonomously, entering a group owner receive mode in which a probe request can be received, and discovering an external device which transmits the probe request.

A method, system and mobile device for searching for and acquiring a desired application by using Near Field Communication (NFC) regardless of time and location are provided. In the method, the mobile device reads a keyword from an NFC tag of a target structure in response to a tagging event between the mobile device and the NFC tag. Then the mobile device performs an application search using the keyword, and downloads a specific application found using the keyword.

A mobile device and a method for providing a tethering service via a security mode and a list of preferred mobile devices are provided. The method includes determining, when the mobile device receives a connection request from a client mobile device, a number of client mobile devices that are currently connected to the mobile device, determining, when the number of connected client mobile devices is less than a preset maximum connection number, the number of created Basic Service Sets (BSSs), determining, when the number of BSSs is less than a preset maximum creation number, the identification-information regarding the client mobile device that requested connection, and providing a tethering service to the client mobile device according to the determined identification-information.

A method and a system for providing a Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) service, in which when multiple counterpart devices are selected based on manufacturer information and support information on supported functions and capability defined in a service information field of each beacon message or each probe response message, a final device is determined by checking multiple pieces of signal information of the selected counterpart devices, are provided. The method includes receiving messages from multiple counterpart devices, selecting one or more counterpart devices, each of which supports a requested service, from an identical manufacturer when the messages are received, checking multiple pieces of signal information of the selected counterpart devices when the number of the selected counterpart devices is greater than one, and determining a device having the signal information satisfying set conditions as a final device.

The present invention relates to peptide derivatives, wherein glutathione-like peptides are connected to benzoic acid derivatives, and a cosmetic composition comprising the same. The peptide derivatives according to the present invention have excellent tyrosinase inhibition and anti-oxidative activities to show excellent skin whitening effect, biocompatibility without skin stimulation, and stability during long-term storage. Therefore, they can be effectively used for a cosmetic composition for skin whitening.

Provided is an inverter having a new structure capable of easily controlling a threshold voltage according to position in fabricating an inverter circuit on a plastic substrate using an organic semiconductor. A driver transistor is formed with a dual-gate structure and a positive bias voltage is applied to the top gate of the driver transistor so that a body effect appears in the organic semiconductor. Accordingly, the threshold voltage is shifted to a negative zone due to positive potential applied to the top gate of the driver transistor so that the driver transistor acts as an enhancement type transistor. A dual-gate organic structure may be applied to a load transistor rather than the driver transistor, or a p-type dual-gate organic transistor structure may be applied to both the driver transistor and the load transistor. Lifespan of the device can be increased, reliability of the device can be improved, and an organic inverter can be provided in which characteristics of organic electronic elements are easily adjusted according to circuit design even after the organic electronic elements are fabricated.
