The invention provides a composite composition comprising a cationically polymerizable organic resin, a cationic photoinitiator, a hydrolysate and/or condensate of at least one hydrolysable silane compound and inorganic nanoparticles. The composite composition is suitable for the preparation of patterned moulded articles or substrates having a patterned coating, in particular by photolithography. Micropatterns obtained show improved properties, such as a high shape stability and an excellent elastic modulus.

The invention provides a wiper blade member maintaining a high water repellency even for a pigment ink, and an ink jet recording apparatus equipped with such wiper blade member. The wiper blade member of the invention for eliminating a deposition an ink discharge face of the ink jet recording head is made water repellent by a condensate of a fluorine-containing hydrolysable compound. The condensate increases a fluorine content significant and shows a strong adhesion a substrate (blade) by the presence of the hydrolysable group. It strongly adhered to the substrate by a condensation reaction only by a hydrolysis, but the adhesion can be further improved by a photo- or thermocuring. The curing reaction can be executed at a relatively low temperature, without causing a damage to the blade constituting the substrate.

In a jet recording method, a recording material is placed in a path defined by a nozzle leading to an ejection outlet, and then heated by actuating a heater disposed within the nozzle to generate a bubble within the recording material, thus ejecting a droplet of the recording material out of the ejection outlet under the action of the bubble to be attached onto recording paper. As improvement, the recording material is pre-heated by actuating the heater before the heating for generating the bubble, and the generated bubble is caused to communicate with ambience. As a result, the ejection of the recording material droplet is stabilized without causing splash or mist.
