    摘要: An error correcting system for performing error correction for error codewords received sequentially in a codeword string on a pipeline processing basis. The system comprises a processing block for generating syndrome data on the basis of parity symbols of each of the codewords, a processing block for performing logical processing operation to derive error locations and error values on the basis of the syndrome data, and a processing block for performing correcting operation for delayed codewords based on the error locations and values. These three processing blocks start their processing operation when receiving individual control signals based on reset signals indicative of leading heads of the respective codewords in the string and delayed by mutually different delay times. With regard to incomplete ones of the codewords that are shorter than a right correct codeword length, the logical processing operation for the error location and error evaluation as well as the error correcting operation is inhibited.

    摘要: In order to accomplish efficient communication of data between a base station and a plurality of mobile terminals, particular orthogonal codes are transmitted from the mobile stations to the base station as alert signals indicating the presence of data to be transmitted. The base station checks whether particular orthogonal codes are contained in the alert signals, and when the particular orthogonal codes are detected in the alert signals, information representing the detected orthogonal codes and the schedules for transmitting the data from the mobile terminals to the base station are transmitted from the base station to the mobile terminals as an alert response to the alert signals. When the information representing the orthogonal codes used for the alert signals are contained in the alert response transmitted from the base station to the mobile terminals, the data waiting to be transmitted is transmitted from the mobile terminals to the base station according the data transmission schedules in the alert response.

The system includes a base station and a mobile station for communicating with the base station. The mobile station includes an oscillator, a radio frequency demodulator for demodulating a radio frequency band signal received from the base station by use of a first signal from the oscillator, a radio frequency modulator for modulating a second signal to be transmitted by use of the first signal from the oscillator, and an antenna for receiving the radio frequency band signal transmitted from the base station, and for transmitting the modulated second signal to the base station. An oscillation frequency of the oscillator is controlled by use of a change of phase shift detected using the demodulated radio frequency band signal received from the base station.

    摘要: In a P-MP fixed wireless access system using quasi-millimeter and millimeter wave bands, a relaying path is autonomously set up for subscriber stations without the need for additional provision of a repetition radio circuit using a costly MMIC. A subscriber station in the fixed wireless access system is provided with a repeating function for relaying signals between a different subscriber station and a base station, a buffer memory for temporarily storing signals to be communicated therebetween, and a table for registering information for identifying a relaying path between an own reference wireless station and a lower-level subscriber station for signal repetition. The base station is provided with a table in which, in order to perform signal communication with an arbitrary subscriber registered in the base station, routing information is registered for determining whether or not to set up a relaying path via a different subscriber station registered in the base station.

    摘要: A code division multiple access (CDMA) mobile communication system with improvements to permit stable reception with a minimum of bit error. The system comprises a voltage-controlled oscillator for supplying a carrier to a radio frequency quadrature demodulator, and a frequency controller for detecting a frequency error from a phase correction signal of the first step to generate a control signal that controls the oscillator. The frequency controller includes an extracting circuit and an integrating circuit. The extracting circuit extracts a phase change based on the frequency error derived from the phase correction signal of the first step and from a signal preceding that signal by a predetermined delay time. The integrating circuit integrates the phase change and outputs the integrated result as the control signal. The predetermined delay time is preferably set within a range not exceeding the delay time needed for averaging by an averaging circuit that receives the phase correction signal of the first step and outputs a phase correction signal. The carrier to a radio frequency quadrature modulator is preferably supplied from the voltage-controlled oscillator.
