An image display system including a display control device and terminals is provided. Each of the terminals includes a processor configured to: extract, from a photograph photographed for a specific period, an image representing a code for identifying a material stored in a server; and obtain the code by decoding the image, and a receiver configured to obtain a material from the server based on the code obtained. The display control device includes a controller configured to control the display to display the image. In a first terminal of the terminals, the specific period is a first period. In a second terminal of the terminals, the specific period is a second period. The controller controls the display to display a particular image as the image for the first period. The particular image represents, as the code, a code for identifying a particular material.

An information processing terminal capable of communicating with an information processing device with an operational panel on which setting on a job and an order to execute the job are accepted. The information processing terminal includes: a display unit; an operational input unit; a remote controller to remote control the information processing device by acquiring an operational screen and displaying the operational screen, and by transmitting operational information to the information processing device; a terminal function controller to control a specific function mounted on the information processing terminal; and a storage storing a program that functions as a cooperation controller to make the information processing device and the terminal function controller work cooperatively. The remote controller actuates the cooperation controller by starting the program and displays the cooperation operational screen. The cooperation operational screen is used for making the information processing device and the terminal function controller work cooperatively.

An MFP (Multifunction Peripheral) is a wireless communication device executes direct wireless communication with a plurality of portable terminal devices without intermediary equipment. MFP is equipped with a wireless communication unit to emit radio waves for the direct wireless communication. When starting direct wireless communication with a new portable terminal device, it is determined that the new portable terminal device satisfies a specified condition or not. When the specified condition is satisfied, the new portable terminal device is regarded as a communication maintenance target. MFP 100 weakens the intensity of radio waves which the wireless communication unit emits, so that the intensity of radio waves the wireless communication unit emits and the portable terminal device which is the communication maintenance target receives is within a predetermined range in which the direct wireless communication can be maintained. The power consumption can be reduced.

An information processing apparatus remotely controls an image forming apparatus having an operating state changeable. The information processing apparatus includes a remote operation accepting portion to accept a user operation, and a remote control portion to remotely control the image forming apparatus on the basis of a remote operation accepted by the remote operation accepting portion. The remote control portion includes a motion detecting portion to detect a motion of the user, and a state maintaining portion to control the image forming apparatus not to change the operating state while a remote-operation motion for inputting a remote operation is detected by the motion detecting portion after a communication with the image forming apparatus has been established.

A communication system includes a cloud server, a management server, a gateway-enabled device, and a printing apparatus, and these are connected to each other. The gateway-enabled device includes a mode switch that wakes up the device from power saving mode when a HTTP tunneling request is received from the cloud server via a second requesting portion of the management server, a tunneling portion that accesses the cloud server by HTTP tunneling if the request is received via a first requesting portion of the management server during normal operation mode or that does the same after back to normal operation mode if the request is received via the second requesting portion by a method allowing waking up from power saving mode, a receiver that receives a print job from the cloud server having being accessed by HTTP tunneling, and a transfer portion that transfers the print job to the printing apparatus.
