    Abstract: A shock absorber includes a hard side damping element that imparts a resistance to a flow of liquid moving between an extension side chamber and a compression side chamber, a solenoid valve configured to change an aperture area of a bypass passage that bypasses the hard side damping element and communicates with the extension side chamber and the compression side chamber, a soft side damping element provided in series with the solenoid valve in the bypass passage, and a tank connected to the compression side chamber. The hard side damping element includes an orifice and leaf valves provided in parallel with the orifice. The soft side damping element includes an orifice having a larger aperture area than the orifice.

    Abstract: A drive circuit anomaly diagnosing device of the present invention performs an anomaly diagnosis on a drive circuit including a power supply line on which a solenoid is disposed midway, a main switch disposed on the power source side relative to the solenoid, a first diode disposed on a protection line connecting a point between the main switch and the solenoid to ground with a forward direction corresponding to a direction from the ground side to the power source side, and a first capacitor interposed on a first line connecting a point between the protection line and the solenoid to the ground midway on the power supply line, the drive circuit being configured to supply power to the solenoid, on the basis of a current detected by a first current sensor disposed upstream of the main switch on the power supply line.

    Abstract: A front fork of the present invention has: a cylinder in which a damper of one fork leg is connected to an outer tube on a vehicle body side; a piston rod connected to an inner tube on an axle side; and a piston valve attached to the piston rod and movably inserted into the cylinder. A variable throttle for extension-side damping force adjustment is provided in the piston rod. A stroke sensor has a detected element attached to the cylinder, and a detection unit that is attached to the piston rod and detects a displacement of the detected element. A variable throttle for compression-side damping force adjustment is attached to an outer tube on the vehicle body side of another fork leg.
