    摘要: A touch screen which uses light sources at one or more edges of the screen which directs light across the surface of the screen and at least two cameras having electronic outputs located at the periphery of the screen to receive light from said light sources. A processor receives the outputs of said cameras and employs triangulation techniques to determine the location of an object proximate to said screen. Detecting the presence of an object includes detecting at the cameras the presence or absence of direct light due to the object, using a screen surface as a mirror and detecting at the cameras the presence or absence of reflected light due to an object. The light sources may be modulated to provide a frequency band in the output of the cameras.

Nos. 6,026,850 and 6,209,578 includes a closure mechanism configured and arranged to override the modulating mode of the valve and to close the valve at fluid inlet pressures both below and above the valve's threshold level. The closure mechanism may be selectively deactivated to thereby allow the valve to assume its normal pressure responsive regulating functions. Embodiments of the regulating valve incorporate pressure relief devices and vent seals, with configurations suitable for incorporation into the trigger assemblies of portable sprayers.

    摘要: A regulating valve includes an outer housing comprised of a cap joined to a base. The housing is internally subdivided by a barrier wall into a head section and a base section, the latter being further subdivided by a modulating assembly into a fluid chamber and a spring chamber. An inlet and a 90° outlet in the cap communicate with the fluid chamber. Fluid at a variable pressure is admitted into the fluid chamber via the inlet, with the modulating assembly serving to maintain the fluid exiting the fluid chamber via the outlet at a substantially constant pressure.

    摘要: A liquid dispensing system comprises a container containing at least one flexible bag. A first liquid is contained in the bag. A manifold chamber is in communication with the bag via a first metering orifice, and with the interior of the container via a second metering orifice. A second liquid is introduced under pressure into the container. The thus introduced second liquid serves to pressurize the first liquid in the bag, with the first and second metering orifices serving to respectively admit metered amounts of the first and second liquids into the manifold chamber for combination into a liquid mixture dispensed through an outlet.

    摘要: A touch panel that has a front surface, a rear surface, a plurality of edges and an interior volume. An energy source is positioned in proximity to a first edge of the touch panel and is configured to emit energy that is propagated within the interior volume of the touch panel. A diffusing reflector is positioned in proximity to the front surface of the touch panel for diffusively reflecting at least a portion of the energy that escapes from the interior volume. At least one detector is positioned in proximity to the first edge of the touch panel and is configured to detect intensity levels of the energy that is diffusively reflected across the front surface of the touch panel. Preferably, two detectors are spaced apart from each other in proximity to the first edge of the touch panel, to allow calculation of touch locations using simple triangulation techniques.

    摘要: A display screen is positioned relative to the interior side of a protective barrier. Also positioned relative to the interior side of the protective barrier are emitters adapted for emitting energy beams and detectors adapted for detecting the energy beams. Emission guides positioned relative to the exterior side of the protective barrier are adapted to receive the energy beams and to channel the energy beams across the exterior side of the protective barrier and through to the interior side of the protective barrier for detection. The display screen, the emitters and the detectors may not be accessible from the exterior side of the protective barrier. A touch on the exterior side of the protective barrier will interrupt at least two energy beams. The location of the touch on the exterior side of the protective barrier may be calculated based on the interrupted energy beams.
