In the method, a first step of a boot program is executed. Through the terminal device (40), a local network, ATM-network (70, 81, 80, 82) and a network server (90) the mobile station (10) is connected over a wired network to a mobile communication switching center (100) or to a telephone network exchange (110, 130).
