摘要: A process is described for manufacturing a friction ring for use in a clutch or brake. Said friction ring comprises a sintered friction lining that is provided on at least one peripheral surface of a conical or cylindrical carrying ring, which has been formed from a flat sheet metal blank after a coating comprising a sinterable powder mixture has been formed on the flat sheet metal blank. In order to permit a shaping of the sheet metal blank independently of the ductility of the sintered friction lining, it is proposed that the sinterable powder mixture for making the friction lining is mixed with an expellable synthetic resin binder before said mixture is applied to the flat sheet metal blank to form said coating, said coating is set, the sheet metal blank provided with said coating is shaped to form the friction ring when said coating has been set, and the friction lining is subsequently sintered while or after the synthetic resin binder is expelled at least in part.

摘要: A process is described for manufacturing a friction ring for use in a clutch or brake. The friction ring comprises a friction lining provided on at least one peripheral surface of a conical or cylindrical carrying ring, which has been formed from a flat sheet metal blank after coating comprising a power mixture has been formed on the flat sheet metal blank. The process comprises providing a flat sheet metal blank, admixing a curable synthetic resin binder to the powder mixture to provide a binder-containing mixture, applying the binder-containing mixture to the blank to form a coating thereon, partly setting the coating, subsequently shaping the blank with the coating to form the carrying ring, and curing the coating on the carrying ring to form the friction lining.

摘要: A synchronization device is described for a change speed gear, comprising at least one cone clutch which comprises a double cone ring (10) which is freely rotatable relative to a hub (1) between an inner friction ring (8) and an outer synchronizing ring (9) which is axially displaceable relative to the friction ring (8) and which comprises a ring body (15) with a stop gearing (14) on the outer circumference and a friction surface (17) on the inner circumference as well as radially inwardly facing drivers (13) for the friction ring (8). In order to provide advantageous constructional conditions it is proposed that the drivers (13) are provided on a driver ring (16) made of at least one sheet-metal pre-cut part which is joined to the ring body (15) consisting of a sintered body.

摘要: To manufacture a synchronizing ring of a synchronizing device for a variable-ratio gear transmission, this synchronizing ring having a ring body having locking teeth on an outer circumference and a friction lining made of a carbon nonwoven material bonded to a duroplastic resin on the conical inner circumference, the ring body is compressed from a sintering powder and sintered before the sintered ring body is axially compressed in a die at least in the region of the conical inner circumference. The friction lining is then glued onto the conical inner circumference of the ring body and secured in a mold under pressure while supplying heat.
