    摘要: A commutator having a plurality of segments, a short-circuit member assembly, a holding portion, and a plurality of spacing members is disclosed. The short-circuit member assembly includes a plurality of short-circuit pieces. Each short-circuit piece has an outer terminal, an inner terminal arranged radially inward from the outer terminal and circumferentially offset from the outer terminal at a predetermined offset angle, and a connecting portion connecting the inner terminal to the outer terminal. The holding portion covers the segments and at least a portion of the short-circuit member assembly to hold the segments and the short-circuit member assembly. The spacing members each have an insulated support portion and a plurality of insulated spacing projections formed integrally with the support portion. Each support portion extends in a radial direction of the short-circuit member assembly. The spacing projections are arranged in the direction in which the corresponding support members extend in such a manner that the spacing projections are each provided between the corresponding circumferentially adjacent pair of the connecting portions.

    摘要: A clutch comprises a driving rotor (11; 52; 83; 202; 302) coupled to a driving source (2) such as a motor, and a driven rotor (12; 53; 85; 204; 303) directly engaged with the driving rotor. Both rotors are accommodated in a housing (13; 51; 82; 201; 301). A lock member (14; 54; 86; 119; 205; 304) comprised of rollers or balls is located between the driven rotor and the housing. When the driven rotor itself is rotated, the lock member is held between the driven rotor and the housing to block the rotation of the driven rotor relative to the housing. When the driving source rotates the driving rotor, the lock member is released from the held state to allow the driving rotor to rotate the driven rotor relative to the housing. Such a clutch can block the transmission of the rotation from the driven rotor to the driving rotor without fail, and can reduce the strength required to both rotors.

The sealing cover seals insides of the yoke housing and the gear housing water-tightly from the outside. The sealing cover is preferably made of rubber, elastomer or adhesive resin, and formed with the brush holder by two-color molding. The sealing cover has a cylindrical cover part extending from the connector unit, and the motor device is mounted in a vehicle door with the cylindrical cover part being attached to the vehicle door for electrical connection with an external power source.

    摘要: In a clutch, when a driving-side rotator is rotated, the driving-side rotator engages a driven-side rotator in a rotational direction and transmits a rotational force of the driving-side rotator to the driven-side rotator. When the driven-side rotator is rotated by an external force, a rolling element is clamped between the driven-side rotator and an inner circumferential surface of a housing. At the same time the driven-side rotator is allowed to rotate while generating a desired frictional force between the rolling element and the inner circumferential surface of the housing, so that the rotation of the driven-side rotator is not transmitted to the driving-side rotator.
