摘要: Electrons emitted from a photocathode in response to incident X-rays are accelerated and focused onto a microchannel plate (MCP). The electrons multiplied by the MCP are converted into a visible light image by a phosphor screen. An envelope tube is curved at a halfway portion, and the electrons are deflected by a deflection coil so as to travel along the curved envelope tube and enter the MCP. Even if X-rays are transmitted from the photocathode, they do not enter the MCP directly and hardly contribute to the background noise. A limiting aperture ring may further be employed to prevent the X-rays reflected by the inside wall of the envelope tube from entering the MCP.

摘要: The present invention relates to an X-ray tube with a structure, by which the charging of an insulating member, disposed inside a container, is effectively prevented to enable stable operation to be secured. This X-ray tube has an electron source that emits electrons, a target that generates X-rays in response to the incidence of the electrons, first and second electrons, each having a side face portion that extends along the direction of incidence of the electrons and forming a predetermined electric field between the electron source and the target, and an insulating support member, for supporting the first and second electrodes, being disposed along the side face portions of the first and second electrodes. The second electrode, of the first and second electrodes, is positioned closest to the target and has an anti-charging edge portion that is positioned at an X-ray generating surface end of the side face portion and that extends toward the exterior of the container so as to cover over the support members from the target.

摘要: An image sensor includes a solid-state image pickup device, an optical system, and a flash. The solid-state image pickup device has an electronic shutter function of outputting accumulated signal charges at a timing corresponding to a shutter speed. The optical system collects incident light to an image pickup area of the solid-state image pickup device. The flash irradiates light to an object to be photographed by the solid-state image pickup device. The solid-state image pickup device includes a pulse generator circuit for generating one or more of an electronic shutter pulse for controlling an accumulation time of signal charges by using the electronic shutter function, an optical system movement pulse for controlling movement of the optical system, and a flash pulse for controlling an emission timing of the flash.

摘要: An electron beam generating apparatus (1a) includes an electron gun (2), a vacuum container (3), a frame material (11), and a window material (13). The electron gun (2) has a filament (7) from which an electron beam (EB) is emitted. The vacuum container (3) holds the filament (7). The frame material (11) has an electron passing hole (11c) through which the electron beam (EB) passes, and is detachably attached to the vacuum container (3). The window material (13) is bonded (brazed) to the frame material (11) so as to airtightly stop up the electron passing hole (11c), and allows the electron beam (EB) to penetrate therethrough.

摘要: An image sensor includes a solid-state image pickup device, an optical system, and a flash. The solid-state image pickup device has an electronic shutter function of outputting accumulated signal charges at a timing corresponding to a shutter speed. The optical system collects incident light to an image pickup area of the solid-state image pickup device. The flash irradiates light to an object to be photographed by the solid-state image pickup device. 摘要: There is disclosed a cold cathode electron source includes: a first conductive member, having an end face and an electron emission layer that is formed on the end face and made of an electron emitting material; and a second conductive member, having a hollow portion that enables insertion of the first conductive member in a first direction substantially perpendicular to the end face, and an opening portion that passes through toward the hollow portion; and wherein the first conductive member is fitted into the second conductive member, is positioned in the first direction with respect to the second conductive member by abutting the second conductive member in the first direction, the first conductive member exposing a surface of the electron emission layer from the opening portion.
