摘要: A combinational weighing system with a plurality of weighing devices employs at least three central processing units such as microprocessors. One keeps monitoring the weight information from the weighing devices and analyzes stability of weight data. Another one controls the charging and discharging of the weighing devices. The third performs combinational computation to select a combination. The system has increased flexibility regarding operation and adjustments, and allows efficient methods of zero-point and span adjustment of weighing devices. Its compact unitized input-output unit allows the user to operate the system interactively.

摘要: Data from weighing devices of a combinational weighing system are transmitted through a multiplexer and sample-and-hold circuits and are converted into digital signals by an analog-to-digital converter. Values of these digital signals are constantly monitored and a specified number of these values are used to determine stability conditions of the weighing devices. Only the weight data from stabilized weighing devices are used for combinational calculation.

The central processing unit adjusts the zero-point of the weighing device by receiving a no-lead weight signal outputted from the weighing device and controls the output signals from the rough and fine adjustment circuits.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a platform scale including a plurality of component force damping devices assembled therein for making high precision weighing. The platform scale for weighing an object to be weighed by supporting a support member that supports the object to be weighed by a plurality of load detection units 301,302 includes at least four component force damping devices 321˜324, each comprising an arrangement of a plurality of needle bearings disposed in parallel and a pair of opposed plates for sandwiching the arrangement of the needle bearings 63 so that the pair of plates make a relative movement in a direction of the arrangement of the needle bearings. The four component force damping devices 321˜324 are in contact with the support member at four locations that form a rectangle. Directions of the relative movement of any two component force damping devices locating at the same side of the rectangle are different, while directions of the relative movement of any two component force damping devices at diagonal locations of the rectangle are identical. Even in case of bending of the support member in any direction, the component force damping devices are able to release the horizontal component force due to such bending.

摘要: A load cell is constructed with several strain gauges. Each of the strain gauges are formed with a meandering conductive portion on a substrate or base member. Portions of the meandering conductive layer defines a predetermined tab ratio. The base member is formed with a predetermined amount of filler and the tab ratio is pre-determined such that the creep characteristic of the strain gauge is substantially zero in a load cell having a generally low rated load.

摘要: A multiple input signal high-speed analog-digital converter circuit for digitizing, by means of an A/D converter, an output signal from a multiplexer which successively delivers multiple input signals applied thereto. Two sample/hold circuits which receive the output signal from the multiplexer repeatedly sample and hold the signal, and a changeover switch keeps one of the sample/hold circuits on hold while the other sample/hold circuit samples the output signal from the multiplexer. While one of the sample/hold circuits is holding the signal, the other sample/hold circuit is sampling another signal so that the A/D conversion time of multiple input signals is capable of being reduced by the sampling time.

摘要: A load sensor includes a scale cell for producing an output signal corresponding to the weight of an article, and a dummy cell, provided near the scale cell, for producing a noise signal output ascribable to floor vibration. A correcting circuit extracts a signal proportional to a DC component contained in the output signal of the scale cell and, on the basis of the extracted signal, corrects the output signal of the dummy cell to the noise level of a floor vibration component of the scale cell. The corrected dummy cell noise signal is added in opposite-phase relation to the scale cell output signal, so that the floor vibration noise contained in the scale cell output signal is cancelled out by the corrected noise signal of the dummy cell.
