摘要: A method for printing corrugated cardboard sheets is effected by transferring the corrugated cardboard sheets while jetting ink droplets from ink jet nozzles onto the corrugated cardboard sheets to form dots thereon. Said method comprises the steps of transferring the corrugated cardboard sheets one by one while at the same time sucking one flat surface of each of the corrugated cardboard sheets, and adjusting the relationship among the velocity at which the corrugated cardboard sheets are transferred, the suction force of the corrugated cardboard sheets, and the distance between the ink jet nozzle and the other corrugated surface of each of the corrugated cardboard sheets in accordance with the configuration of the said other corrugated surface and the desired DPI of dots to be formed on the said other corrugated surface. As a result, the ink droplets are jetted toward the said other corrugated surface to be printed thereon.

摘要: A printing machine includes a transfer device including a conveyor having suction holes formed therethrough for transferring cardboard sheets one by one, a suction device for applying a suction force on one of the two surfaces of each of the cardboard sheets, which one of two surfaces faces the conveyor, and ink jet heads located to face the other of the surfaces of each of the cardboard sheets to be spaced apart therefrom. The ink jet heads are located in such a manner that a desired distance is maintained between tips of the ink jet heads and the other surface to be printed and include ink jet nozzles from each of which ink is jetted out toward said the other surface. The ink jet heads have skirts located upstream and downstream of the transferring direction of the cardboard sheets in such a manner that the skirts extend from the ink jet heads toward the other surface and have a width which covers the ink jet nozzles so as to form a partition in a space between the ink jet nozzles and the other surface.

摘要: A interferometer type polarization beam combiner and splitter, which can combine or split polarized light over a wide band, is provided. The interferometer type polarization beam combiner and splitter includes: an optical splitter; an optical coupler; an optical path length difference imparting unit, which includes a plurality of optical waveguides arranged between the optical splitting unit and the optical coupling unit; one or two input/output ports connected to the optical splitter; and two input/output ports connected to the optical coupler. A half-integer of a wavelength of λc is set as a normalized phase difference, for the optical path length difference imparting unit, between two polarization states, and means for generating a difference in refractive index dispersion is provided between the optical waveguides of the optical path length difference imparting unit, so that the change rate of the transmittance with respect to wavelength is suppressed for the two polarization states.

摘要: A magnetic sensor having first to fourth magneto-resistive elements, where the first and second magneto-resistive elements are connected at respective ends through a first connecting portion in a central region, and the third and fourth magneto-resistive elements are connected at respective ends through a second connecting portion that is parallel to the first connecting portion. The first and fourth magneto-resistive elements are connected at respective other ends through a third connecting portion, and the second and third magneto-resistive elements are connected at respective other ends through a fourth connecting portion. Depending on an external signal magnetic field, resistance values of the first and third magneto-resistive elements change in a same increasing or decreasing direction, whereas resistance values of the second and fourth magneto-resistive elements change in an increasing or decreasing direction opposite to the direction of the first and third magneto-resistive elements.
