摘要: A shifting device includes a housing, a shift lever, and a sensor unit. The shift lever is moved along frontward or rearward and leftward or rightward to select one of shift positions. The sensor unit is of a non-contact type and detects the selected shift position. The sensor unit includes a plurality of sensors and a magnet. The relative positions of the sensors and the magnet are variable. The sensor unit detects the selected shift position according to the relative positions. According to movement of the shift lever, at least one of the group of the sensors and the magnet is moved along a first movement axis and a second movement axis. The first and second movement axes extend in different directions.

摘要: An activation restricting apparatus for an engine starting system that may be produced with a compact size. The apparatus includes an operating mechanism, an actuator, and a control unit. The operating mechanism starts and stops the engine and has a plurality of positions including a LOCK position. The operating mechanism includes a first stopper prohibiting movement of the operating mechanism from the LOCK position and a second stopper prohibiting movement of the operating mechanism to the LOCK position. The control unit enables the engine to be started when the operating mechanism is in the LOCK position and a first ID code sent from a portable device matches a second ID code. The control unit enables the operating mechanism to be moved to the LOCK position when the operating mechanism is not in the LOCK position and the vehicle is not moving.

摘要: A key interlocking mechanism for an automobile ensures that the automobile transmission is in the proper position when the key is removed. The mechanism includes a stopper pin protruding into the rotational path of the key motor and a solenoid valve energized when the automobile transmission is shifted out of park. When the key rotor is rotated with the solenoid valve unenergized, a cam plate within the mechanism acts to push the stopper pin up out of the rotational path of the key rotor. When the solenoid valve is energized, the stopper pin is prevented from being pushed out of the rotational path of the rotor. The key rotor is thus prevented from being rotated to a position in which the key can be removed from the rotor.

摘要: This invention aims to provide a favorable feel coating film having gently soft feel (comfortable feel), a coating composition for forming the coating film, and fine particles of a polymer for incorporation in the coating composition, and concerns with fine particles of lanolin-deposited polyurethane resin obtainable by reacting at least one of polyesters and polyethers with polyisocyanate having at least two isocyanate groups in a poor solvent in the presence of a lanolin derivative; a coating composition comprising (i) at least one binder resin selected from the group consisting of polyester resins and polyether resins, the binder resin having a specific glass transition temperature, a specific number average molecular weight and a specific hydroxyl value, (ii) polyisocyanate having at least two isocyanate groups, (iii) the fine particles of polyurethane resin as described above, and (iv) an organic solvent; and an article coated with the coating composition.
