摘要: This metal gasket comprises a beaded base plate, an intermediate plate and a thin plate, and secures a stable long-standing sealing performance with a face-to-face pressure balance kept properly. This metal gasket is provided with full beads on the beaded base plate, stopper beads on the intermediate plate, and folded portions, which hold the edge portions of bores of the intermediate plate, and full beads, which are laminated on the stopper beads on the intermediate plate, on the thin plate. The folded portions are formed so that they are not laminated on the stopper beads when the metal gasket is in practical use, i.e., when the folded portions are in a compressed condition. The folded portions and stopper beads display a stopper function of preventing the full compression of the full beads on the beaded base plate, and a sealing function of preventing the entry of a combustion gas into the clearances defined by the full beads. The face-to-face pressure occurring on the folded portions, stopper beads and full beads can be controlled properly, and the face-to-face pressure balance can be maintained properly.

摘要: In this metal gasket, the beads formed on an intermediate plate prevent a full compression of bead plates and improve the sealability of the gasket. This metal gasket comprises first and second bead plates having main beads extending along the circumferences of holes, and an intermediate plate interposed between the first and second bead plates. The intermediate plate is provided in the regions thereof which are between the holes and the main bead-contacting portions thereof with beads opposed to the first bead plate, and these beads form compensating portions for the first bead plate. The second bead plate is provided with auxiliary beads having projecting portions engageable with the recessed portions of the beads on the intermediate plate. The compensating portions mentioned above prevent a full compression of the beads on the bead plates when the metal gasket is tightened, and offset the irregularity of the opposed surfaces of a cylinder head and a cylinder block. The auxiliary beads improve the sealability of the second bead plate with respect to the compensating portion-carrying intermediate plate.

摘要: The present invention comprises a pair of bead plates on which beads are formed, and an intermediate plate on which first and second stepped portions are formed. One of the bead plates is provided with auxiliary beads so as to prevent a full compression of the beads and increase the sealability. This metal gasket comprises first and second bead plates having beads and extending along the circumferences of holes, and an intermediate plate interposed between the bead plates. The intermediate plate is provided in the regions thereof which extend along the circumferences of the holes and on the inner side of the beads with first stepped portions extending toward the first bead plate, and second stepped portions extending toward the second bead plate. The second bead plate is provided with auxiliary beads extending toward the second stepped portions. The auxiliary beads are adapted to engage the intermediate plate to increase the surface pressure and prevent the leakage of a high-temperature gas toward the beads on the first and second bead plates and the permanent set in fatigue of wing parts of the second stepped portions of the intermediate plate.

摘要: This metal gasket has firmly secured to the intermediate plate through the mounting metal plates the seal members for sealing stepped portions that occur between the cylinder block and the chain case. The metal gasket comprises elastic metal plates formed with notched portions opening to the chain passage opening and an intermediate plate formed with sealing slots, mounting holes and positioning holes. The seal members are installed in the sealing slots of the intermediate plate to seal the stepped portions between the main seal portion and the sub-seal portions. The mounting metal plates attached to the seal members are provided with engagement portions. The engagement portions are folded to hold the edges of the mounting holes to secure the mounting metal plates to the intermediate plate and position the seal members in the sealing slots. Alternatively, the intermediate plates are formed with slots in which to install the seal members, and the elastic metal plates and the intermediate plates are formed with notched portions in areas where the seal members are located. The metal plates securely attached to the seal members are folded to hold the mounting portions of the intermediate plates.

摘要: This invention relates to precisely obtaining a head temperature free from influence of a signal transferred to a printhead, without slowing down the printing speed. In a printing apparatus which includes a printhead including a plurality of printing elements and a temperature sensor, and divides the plurality of printing elements into a plurality of blocks to print while performing division driving of the plurality of printing elements for each block, the head temperature is detected as follows. First, one printing period determined by a printhead driving frequency is divided into an active period required for the division driving and an inactive period required for A/D-converting an analog temperature data signal from the temperature sensor. While a signal required to drive the printhead is transferred in the active period, a digital signal A/D-converted from the temperature data signal from the printhead is read in the inactive period.

摘要: A recording apparatus performs recording with a recording head having a number of recording elements divided into blocks. The recording apparatus includes a signal generation unit to generate first enabling signals based on inclination information associated with each of the blocks of the recording elements. The first enabling signals are used to enable a data generating unit to generate recording data on a block-by-block basis. The signal generation unit further generates second enabling signals that correspond to the respective first enabling signals delayed by a time interval and enable the recording elements to be driven on a block-by-block basis.

摘要: In this exposure system, alignment marks on a photosensitive material are photographed with a reading unit. Prior to this photographing, a standard board, having detection marks at positions readable to the reading unit at preset intervals along the movement direction of the reading unit, is provided. At least one of the detection marks is photographed with the reading unit, which is arranged in a position to photograph the alignment marks provided on the photosensitive material. Calibration data is calculated based on data on the camera optical axis deviation obtained by this photographing. Standard position data reflects the calibration data, whereby calibration of the exposure position adjustment function of the exposure device is performed.
