    摘要: A collision detecting system having a collision sensor for generating an AC collision signal and a signal processing circuit responsive to the AC signal for discriminating the occurrence of a collision and for generating an output signal when a collision occurs. A contactless connector interconnects the collision sensor and the signal processing circuit. The connector comprises a pair of separably interconnected elements for respectively supporting a primary winding and a secondary winding in operative relationship to one another, the primary winding being joined to the collision sensor and the secondary winding being connected to the signal processing circuit.

    摘要: A collision sensing system for vehicles is provided in which a moving core shaft having alternately notched and projecting portions formed thereon or a permanent magnet serving as a moving core and magnetized to create therein alternate north and south poles is disposed to move relative to a stator for providing a magnetic path, whereby when a vehicle comes into collision, the magnetic reluctance of the magnetic path is caused to change rapidly at plural times and a generating winding wound on the stator thus generates the waveform of an output voltage proportional to the rate of the plurality of changes of the magnetic reluctance. This output voltage is compared with a predetermined value to determine, whether a controlled system such as an air bag should be actuated to thereby actuate the controlled system properly.

    摘要: A fault detecting system adapted for detecting whether a occupants protective apparatus, e.g., an air bag apparatus, seat belt apparatus or rear-end collision preventing apparatus installed in a vehicle, particularly an automobile, is in a normal condition. The system comprises means for detecting the occurrence of a fault or faults in an occupants protective apparatus, means for storing the fact that the occurrence of a fault has been detected by the detecting means, and means for preventing the operation of occupants protective apparatus actuating means as long as the storage means retains its stored content, whereby misoperation of the occupants protective apparatus due to any faulty condition is prevented.

    摘要: A collision detecting system is mounted on the front part of an automobile to detect collisions thereof and comprises a permanent magnet, a generating coil and a plunger as its principal component elements. In the system, the plunger in bar form is composed of a magnetic material and it is extended through and displaced within a space which is defined by the cylindrical permanent magnet and disk pole pieces provided at each end of the permanent magnet and having central openings, and the generating coil is mounted in the space to provide a magnetic circuit along with the plunger and the permanent magnet.

    摘要: There is provided a collision predicting operation system comprising a radar circuit whereby a reflected wave which has been radiated from an oscillator and encountered and reflected from a target is received and caused to interfere with the radiated wave to generate a doppler signal, an oscillator circuit group for generating a periodic wave synchronized with the doppler signal when the amplitude of the doppler signal is higher than a predetermined value and its frequency is within a predetermined range, means for changing the oscillation frequency of the oscillator in synchronization with the periodic wave, and means for detecting the polarity and the amount of change of the phase of the doppler signal changed by the frequency modulating means.

    摘要: A method for controlling the distribution of spark voltages generated by an ignition coil to spark plugs provided on multiple cylinders of a combustion engine. A spark voltage distributor is provided with a rotatable electrode connected to the ignition coil and multiple stationary electrodes connected to the respective spark plugs. The rotatable electrode is rotated by an electric motor at a speed depending upon the rotation speed of an engine output shaft and the rotational position of the output shaft indicative of the timing of spark voltage generation so that the engagement of the rotatable electrode with the stationary electrodes is synchronized with the spark voltage generation.
