    摘要: A thick film thermal printing head having a substrate, an insulating glaze layer formed on the substrate, a heating resistor formed into a straight elongated shape, a driver IC for controlling energization of the heating resistor, a plurality of first lead wires for connection between the heating resistor and the driver IC, a common electrode serving as an intermediate power supply point through which electric power is supplied to the heating resistor, and a plurality of second lead wires for connection between the heating resistor and the common electrode, the first and second lead wires are alternately disposed parallel to each other, at least the first lead wires, the second lead wires and the common electrode being formed on the glaze layer. The heating resistor is formed in the vicinity of an end surface of the substrate, and the lead wires, the common electrode and the driver IC and other components are suitably arranged to form a thick film thermal printing head structure having no insulating interlayer and no through holes at the connection between the lead wires and the common electrode, enabling simplification of the manufacture process and a reduction in the manufacture cost. It is also possible to improve the printing performance of a thermal transfer facsimile apparatus or thermal transfer printer as well as to reduce the size thereof by using the thick film thermal printing head of the present invention.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a facsimile apparatus having a high resolution image display unit and a hard copying unit, which is capable of preventing wasteful consumption of recording paper sheets while revealing a reduced size and excellent operation facility. In order to achieve the aforesaid object, according to the present invention, there is provided a facsimile apparatus having the image display unit comprising a reflecting mirror for displaying a toner image formed on an image recording medium in response to an image signal while inverting the toner image into a readable direction and a cover, a selection unit for determining whether or not it is necessary to transfer and fix the toner image onto the recording paper sheet in accordance with whether or not it is necessary to record image information discriminated from the toner image displayed on said image display unit, and the hard copying unit for transferring fixing the toner image formed on the image recording medium by a transferring roller and a drive roller in response to a selection signal supplied from the selection unit.

    摘要: A digital signal is provided by correcting image signal distortions contained in an image signal outputted from an elongated direct contact type image sensor in an image reader such as a facsimile device, which image sensor reads patterns on a document in contact with the document. The image signal distortions of the sensor output are so-called shading distortions due to sensitivity distribution of sensor elements or distribution of light from light sources onto the document. Signal distortions are corrected from both a white signal outputted from the sensor when a white document is read and a black signal outputted when a black document is read. The white signal and the black signal are stored and reproduced to generate a reference signal which is obtained by dividing the voltage range across both the signals at a predetermined ratio. The digital signal is obtained by comparing the sensor output with the reference signal. If necessary, a pseudo-black signal may be produced by dividing the voltage of the white signal.
