    摘要: An electric motor includes a housing and a circular stator. The housing has an inner circumferential surface. The housing also has a first predetermined thermal expansion coefficient. The housing further has an elastic part. The stator core is pressed to an inside of the housing by tight fit. The stator core has an outer circumferential surface. The stator core also has a second predetermined thermal expansion coefficient that is different from the first predetermined thermal expansion coefficient. A void is defined between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface so as to prevent the inner and the outer circumferential surfaces from contacting each other in a circular region. When the housing and the stator core expand or shrink so as to tightly fit each other due to a differential between the first and second predetermined thermal expansion coefficients, the elastic part corresponding to the void is elastically deformed.

    摘要: A compressor housing defines a motor accommodating chamber. The pressure in the motor accommodating chamber is equal to the pressure in a suction chamber. A first reservoir chamber is located in a discharge chamber. A second reservoir chamber is defined about the discharge chamber. A communicating passage connects the first reservoir chamber with the second reservoir chamber. A restrictor is located in the communicating passage. An oil return passage connects the second reservoir chamber with the suction chamber. A connecting passage connects the motor accommodating chamber with the suction chamber. Therefore, leakage of electricity is prevented.

    摘要: A scroll type compressor includes a housing, a fixed scroll member and a movable scroll member. An elastic member is formed in an annular and planar shape and is fixed in the housing on a side of a back surface of the movable base plate so as to slidably contact the back surface of the movable base plate of the movable scroll member at a sliding region of the elastic member. A facing wall is provided on a side opposite to a side of the movable scroll member with respect to the elastic member. A first space is formed between the elastic member and the facing wall for allowing the elastic member to be elastically deformed. The elastic member is elastically deformed toward the facing wall by pressure-contacting the movable scroll member, whereby the movable scroll member is urged toward the fixed scroll member.

    摘要: Pulsation of gas spreads from a pulsation source to a gas passage in a device. A muffler is located in a part of the gas passage. A combined passage is located upstream or downstream of the muffler with respect to a flowing direction of gas. The combined passage includes a restricting passage and a pressure restoring passage, which are connected in series. The pressure restoring passage is located downstream of the restricting passage with respect to the flowing direction of gas. The muffler is located between the pulsation source and the combined passage in the gas passage. Therefore, the device obtains sufficient pulsation reducing effect and suppresses pressure loss.

    摘要: Scroll compressors (100, 110) may include a movable scroll (20) that is disposed opposite to a fixed scroll (2). At least one compression chamber (32) is defined between the fixed scroll and the movable scroll. A motor (49) drives the movable scroll, so that the movable scroll revolves (orbits) relative to the fixed scroll. The movable scroll includes a front portion (20b) that slidably contacts the fixed scroll. The front portion receives the pressure of the pressurized refrigerant that is disposed within the compression chamber. The movable scroll also includes a rear portion (20a) that slidably contacts a portion (4a) of a compressor housing. The motor is disposed within a motor chamber (45) defined within the compressor housing. A first conduct route (94) communicates discharged refrigerant from a discharge-side region (85) to the motor chamber. A second conduct route (97, CL) communicates refrigerant from the motor chamber to a suction-side region (98), thereby adjusting the pressure within the motor chamber, so that the opposing pressing forces applied against both sides to the movable scroll can be appropriately adjusted in order to improve compressor efficiency.

The bottom and side surfaces are defined by the compressor housing. The motor drive circuit is arranged in the accommodating space for driving the electric motor.

    摘要: An oil storage area (45a) is defined on the bottom of a motor chamber (45) of a scroll compressor (1). An oil transfer route (4a) is defined in the portion of a center housing (4) that corresponds to the storage area (45a). Lubricating oil L is separated from the discharged, compressed refrigerant by an oil separator (80) and the lubricating oil L is supplied to the backside of a movable scroll (20) due to a pressure differential within the compress (1). After lubricating a bearing (10), the lubricating oil L is temporarily stored in the storage area (45a) and then is transferred due to a pressure differential to the suction-side of a compression mechanism (21) via the oil transfer route (4a). The lubricating oil L is then transferred to the oil separator (80) together with the compressed refrigerant that is discharged from a compression chamber (32) of the compression mechanism (21). Thus, the lubricating oil L contained in the discharged, compressed refrigerant can be effectively separated from the compressed refrigerant and circulated to and from the back side of the movable scroll (20) in order to lubricate moving parts within the compressor (1) using the pressure differentials within the compressor (1).
