摘要: A light emitter and a method of manufacturing a light emitter. The light emitter includes a first electrode, a charge injection transport layer, a light-emitting layer, and a second electrode that are layered in this order. At least the light-emitting layer is defined by a bank that has at least one liquid-repellent surface. The charge injection transport layer is principally composed of a metal compound that is more liquid-philic than the surface of the bank. The charge injection transport layer includes a recessed structure so that in a region defined by the bank, the charge injection transport layer is lower than a bottom surface of the bank.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of pixels arranged on a substrate in a matrix, a source driver circuit to supply source signals to source lines connected to each pixel arranged in a column direction and a gate driver circuit to supply gate signals to respective gate lines connected to pixels arranged in a row direction. A control circuit outputs an array control signal for a partial display to a receiver circuit that receives a partial display start address to specify a gate line for starting a partial display and a partial display end address to specify a gate line for ending the partial display. A decoder circuit outputs a control signal to control a range of the gate lines driven by the gate driver circuit.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of common electrodes arranged so as to counter pixel electrodes extending in the row direction on a substrate. First and second voltage supply lines to supply first and second voltages to the common electrodes are connected with the common electrodes through a first switch circuit. A second switch circuit is arranged between the first voltage supply line and signal lines to switch a connection between the first voltage supply line and the signal lines. A gate open circuit is connected to scan lines to simultaneously supply a signal to switch on the pixel electrodes to all the scan lines. In case the power supply of the liquid crystal display device is turned off, a control circuit starts the power OFF driving operation to set the potential of the pixel electrode and the common electrode to substantially same by switching the first and second switch circuits.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a pair of substrates, a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix and a static memory formed on the substrates. A bit signal corresponding to an image data is written and held in a static memory in the pixel. The polarity of the input bit signal is controlled. A liquid crystal voltage supplied to a liquid crystal layer arranged between the pair of substrates is generated by the bit signal. The polarity of the bit signal is controlled to alternate the liquid crystal voltage, and a transmittance of the liquid crystal layer is changed by supplying the alternated liquid crystal voltage.
