摘要: A vehicle surroundings monitoring device for clarifying the accuracy of detection results and providing notification so that a driver can intuitively ascertain the position in which an object exists, the vehicle surroundings monitoring device comprising: an object detection unit for detecting objects in the periphery of a vehicle; a vehicle image generation unit for generating an image of the vehicle with the point of view set above the vehicle; a periphery image generation unit for generating an image of the periphery of the vehicle including the image of the vehicle; a position-calculating unit for calculating a corresponding position in the image of the periphery on the basis of detection results of the object detection unit; and an indicator unit for indicating the corresponding position in the image of the periphery when the degree of confirmation of the detection results of the object detection unit meets or exceeds an assessment threshold, and for indicating the corresponding region in the image of the periphery when the degree of confirmation of the detection results is less than the assessment threshold.

摘要: In order to provide a vehicle periphery monitoring device in which excessive information is not displayed on a display device and the driver may intuitively have a sense of distance between their vehicle and an obstacle, the vehicle periphery monitoring device includes an image acquisition unit for obtaining a surrounding image of a vehicle captured by a photographing device mounted on the vehicle, an obstacle detection unit for detecting an obstacle present around the vehicle and its position, a traveling state detection unit for detecting a traveling state of the vehicle, a predicted path line generation unit for generating a predicted path line based on the traveling state of the vehicle detected at the traveling state detection unit, a highlighted display determination unit for determining highlighted display of a partial area including the obstacle of a predicted path area when the obstacle is present within the predicted path area defined by the predicted path line, and a display control unit for superimposing the predicted path line and the highlighted display on the surrounding image and displaying the superimposed image on a monitor device mounted in the interior of the vehicle.

摘要: Provided is a vehicle surroundings awareness support device capable of providing a prompt for a driver to intuitively direct their attention, without the driver feeling hassled. Captured images comprising a plurality of frames taken sequentially by an onboard camera for imaging the surroundings of the vehicle are received; an optical flow is computed on the basis of feature points contained in the plurality of frames imaged at different times; moving objects in the surroundings of the vehicle are detected on the basis of the optical flow; and a display for showing movement trajectories for the moving objects is superimposed on the captured images on the basis of the optical flow.

摘要: A liquid crystal color display device has a light shielding film formed on a color filter substrate at positions overlying TFT elements formed on a TFT substrate. A color filter provided on the color filter substrate has blue-colored and green-colored layers laminated on the light shielding film at regions corresponding to green display pixels, blue-colored and red-colored layers laminated on the light shielding film at regions corresponding to red display pixels, and a blue-colored layer formed on the light shielding film at regions corresponding to blue display pixels. The laminated colored layers reduce reflection of blacklight by the light shielding film onto the TFT elements to prevent leak current of the TFT elements thereby preventing deterioration of the display quality.
