摘要： A hydraulic power steering device responsive to the speed of a vehicle and comprising a housing, an output shaft disposed in the housing, an input shaft disposed in the housing and coaxial with the output shaft, a torsion bar provided between the output shaft and the input shaft, a control valve provided around the input shaft for controlling the amount of pressure oil to be supplied from a hydraulic pump to a power cylinder in accordance with the torsion of the torsion bar, and plungers each slidably fitted in a hole formed in the output shaft, each of the plungers being adapted to be pressed at its forward end against the input shaft by oil pressure in accordance with the vehicle speed to obtain a reaction. At least one of the portion of the plunger slidable in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the output shaft defining the hole and the portion of the plunger to be pressed into contact with the input shaft is made of a synthetic resin.

摘要： Flat article feeding apparatus comprises a feeder comprising a feed belt for feeding approximately flat articles one by one in a feeding direction and a predetermined number of idler pulleys. The idler pulleys are individually urged towards the feed belt so that the idler pulleys are in contact with one of the flat articles that is fed on the feed belt as a particular article. The idler pulleys are driven so as to feed the particular article reversedly relative to the feeding direction. The apparatus is applicable to feeding the flat articles successively to a utilizing device which is typically a bar code printer. For this purpose, the feeder and the idler pulleys are controllably driven in response to a completion signal which the utilizing device produces upon completion of a predetermined process.

摘要： A hydraulic control valve which comprises a casing having an oil inlet channel and an oil outlet channel and formed with groove portions and land portions arranged alternately in a specified direction, and a valve member having a return oil channel and attached to the casing so as to be movable relative thereto in the specified direction, the valve member having groove portions and land portions arranged alternately in the specified direction, the groove portions and the land portions of the casing being opposed to the land portions and the groove portions of the valve member respectively when the valve is in a neutral state, permitting oil supplied from the oil inlet channel to flow into the return oil channel, the valve member being movable from the neutral state relative to the casing for the land portions of the casing and the valve member to block communication betwen the oil inlet channel and the return oil channel to permit the oil supplied from the oil inlet channel to flow into the oil outlet channel. The land portion of the casing or the valve member is formed with a recess for permitting the oil supplied from the oil inlet channel to flow therethrough into the return oil channel when the amount of movement of the valve member from the neutral state relative to the casing becomes greater than a predetermined valve.

摘要： A power steering apparatus for power steering the steerable wheels of a vehicle is disclosed which includes a steering column having one end connected with a steering wheel and the other end operatively connected with the steerable wheels; a cylindrical housing surrounding the steering column and providing a space therebetween; a torque sensor disposed in the housing for detecting a steering torque exerted on the steering wheel by a driver; a conductor or lead line wound around the steering column and accommodated in the housing, the lead line having one end electrically connected to the torque sensor and the other end to terminals which are disposed outside the steering column; and a motor installed on the housing and operatively connected with the steering column for power assisting the steering effort exerted on the steering wheel by the driver, the motor being driven to run in accordance with the steering torque detected by the torque sensor. A rotation limiting mechanism is provided between the steering column and the housing for limiting the rotation of the steering column within a predetermined range.

摘要： The invention maintains the focus of a reader in a postal sorting and transporting system which is equipped to read an image of an address on either side of a mail article. The address reading apparatus uses two address readers disposed on opposite sides of a transfer path over which the mail articles travel. An address-carrying surface detector is disposed along the transfer path and upstream of the two address readers. Two floating roller pairs are provided at the inlet and the outlet of the address readers, to hold the mail article therebetween. A pressure roller driving mechanism responds to an output signal delivered from the address-carrying surface detector for selectively fixing one roller of either roller pair at a predetermined distance from the mail article's address carrying surface so that the distance between the address carrying surface and the appropriate address reader is kept constant. This constant distance fixing compensates for variations in the thickness of the mail article in order to maintain an accurate focus.

The flat articles are transported while in a standing mode and while being vibrated to align them. A conical roller is rotatably mounted near the end of the transport path and is oriented to direct the articles in a direction opposite the direction of travel. The conical roller has at least one flat side to vibrate the standing articles so that they will feed one-by-one.

摘要： A card item stacker comprises a base member having an upwardly directed principal surface for stacking card items in a predetermined direction, an endless belt extended along the base member for conveying stacked card items, and a guide plate for vertically holding the stacked card items. The endless belt has teeth spaced apart on a belt surface. Each of the tooth surfaces of the endless belt has first and second end portions transversely of the predetermined direction. The first end portion leads the second end portion in a conveying sense of the predetermined direction and is more protruded than the second end portion. At least the first end portion is protruded from the principal surface. The guide plate is engaged with two adjacent ones of the teeth while each card item does not fall within the teeth. The card items can be slided in a sense opposite to the conveying sense.

摘要： An apparatus applicable to a sheet article processing system for temporarily accumulating sheet articles which come in arbitrarily one by one or in a bunch and sending them out one by one at predetermined intervals. The apparatus includes a drive mechanism capable of starting and stopping the movement of a suction belt instantaneously, a sensor responsive to the leading edge of a sheet article which has been nipped by a downstream transport path, and a sensor responsive to the presence/absence of an interval between successive sheet articles which occurs between the downstream transport path and a reverse belt. Other sensors are provided for determining an interval between successive articles. A pick-up roller pair is driven at a controllable speed in matching relation to the interval between successive articles determined.

摘要： A speed sensitive hydraulic pressure reaction device in a rack pinion type power steering device of the type employing a rotary valve. A valve body of the output shaft and the rotary valve forms a sleeve portion so as to integrally rotate around the input shaft. The sleeve portion has a plurality of holes mutually communicating through a ring ditch, and a plunger is slidably disposed in each hole. The input shaft has a plurality of slots which engage with the respective plungers at the outer periphery of the input shaft. Each slot has a bottom and a pair of slant surfaces in a cross section orthogonal to the input shaft. When the center of the plunger is aligned with a center between the pair of slant surfaces, gaps are formed between the plunger and each of the slant surfaces.
