    摘要: Around an engine-body of a vehicle, several auxiliary machinery such as an air-conditioner and a power steering-pump are disposed. Pulleys of said auxiliary machinery are driven by means of an endless belt or endless belts by a driving pulley of the engine. In order to obtain the most effective operation of the engine, consideration should be given to the degree of the power loss for driving the auxiliary machinery.For this purpose, according to the present invention, the order by which said several driven pulleys are driven by said driving pulley is determined by the magnitude of the driven torques of the corresponding auxiliary machinery along the running direction of the endless belt toward the driving pulley.

The image is decomposed into coefficient values of a plurality of frequency bands by a frequency-component decomposition circuit to obtain coefficients of each and every frequency band. A coefficient conversion circuit converts coefficient values with regard to at least one frequency band of the plurality of frequency bands in such a manner that a frequency distribution of coefficient values of every frequency band will become a prescribed frequency distribution. A restoration circuit generates an image using the coefficient values obtained by the conversion performed by the coefficient conversion circuit.

    摘要: An X-ray imaging apparatus includes a multi X-ray generating unit in which multiple X-ray foci are disposed in two-dimensional form at a predetermined pitch in a first direction, and a slit unit having multiple slit members each disposed opposite to its respective X-ray focus. Each slit member has multiple slits arranged in the first direction, and each of the slits forms a slice-formed X-ray beam whose lengthwise direction is a second direction that is different from the first direction. The two-dimensional detection unit detects the X-ray intensity of the formed X-ray beams at the detection surface. The X-ray imaging apparatus executes X-ray imaging at multiple positions while moving the multi X-ray generating unit and the slit unit in the first direction by the amount of the predetermined pitch, while keeping the relative positional relationship therebetween, and reconstructs an X-ray image based on the obtained X-ray intensity.

    摘要: A paper feeder comprises a controllably drivable resilient body in frictional contact with a feed roller. A preliminary feeder is provided for supplying a sheet of paper towards an area of the frictional contact from a stack of paper. The roller is driven in a first sense of rotation to feed the supplied paper away from the preliminary feeder. The resilient body is usually driven in a second sense towards the preliminary feeder at the frictional contact area and selectively set free on feeding a thin or flexible sheet. The resilient body may further be driven in the first sense on feeding either a thin or flexible sheet or a ground sheet on which another sheet of paper is attached.
