摘要： A developer supply device is provided, which includes a developer retrieving member disposed to face a developer holding surface of a developer holding member across a predetermined distance in a position downstream relative to a developer supply position where the developer holding member faces an intended device to be supplied with development agent in a direction perpendicular to a main scanning direction parallel to an axial direction of the developer holding member. The developer retrieving member is driven to rotate around an axis parallel to the main scanning direction and configured to retrieve the development agent from the developer holding surface under a retrieving electric field that is generated when a retrieving voltage is applied between the developer retrieving member and the developer holding member.

摘要： A developer supply device is provided, which includes a casing including a developer storage section at a bottom portion therein and an opening formed at an end thereof away from the developer storage section, development agent chargeable with a predetermined polarity, stored in the developer storage section, and a transfer board that is disposed in the casing and configured to transfer the development agent stored in the developer storage section when a multi-phase alternating-current voltage is applied to transfer electrodes of the transfer board. The development agent includes a mother particle having, around an outer surface thereof, an electrically insulating layer without a polar group having a charge polarity identical to the predetermined polarity, and an external additive, absorbed to around the mother particle in an easily desorbable manner, which is an electrically insulating fine particle having a charge polarity identical to the predetermined polarity.

In each of pin terminal insertion holes formed in the board assembly, a terminal connection portion electrically connected to a metal foil wire and fitted onto the pin terminal so as to hold the pin terminal is provided in a through-hole of at least one of a plurality of circuit boards forming the board assembly, which forms a part of the pin terminal insertion hole, whereas an insulating sleeve blocking contact between the pin terminal and each of the remaining circuit boards is fitted into through-holes of the remaining circuit boards, which form the remaining part of the pin terminal insertion hole.

摘要： A method of stacking a veneer sheet carried by a conveyer onto a pile of similar veneer sheets is disclosed. Veneer sheet is separated from the conveyer thereby to allow the sheet to drop from the conveyer toward the pile. The veneer sheet being dropped is restrained by an elongated flexible member which is lowered substantially simultaneously with the above separation and at such a speed that the flexible member is brought into frictional engagement with the veneer sheet at at least one side thereof which extends in substantially perpendicular relation to the length of the elongated flexible member. The flexible member is lowered until it is bent in pressing engagement with the veneer sheet then dropped onto the pile at the above side thereof. An apparatus for performing the method is also disclosed.

摘要： Wire connection and pipe connection between two cars is easily performed. Wires (electric wires) 29 and 30 of cars are connected to each other through connecting wires 21 mounted to a truck frame 4C of an articulated truck 4. The connecting wires 21 are inserted into a flexible protecting pipe member 28 and an intermediate portion thereof is mounted within a concave portion 4Da formed on an upper portion of a side frame 4D of the truck frame 4C. And, an upper opening of the concave portion 4Da is closed by a cover plate. Connectors 22 and 23 are provided at front and rear end portions of the connecting wire 21 for electric connection with cars. The connectors 22 and 23 are removably connected to connectors 26 and 27 of the wires 29 and 30 of the cars, which are mounted by mounting brackets 24 and 25 under the car bodies 2A and 3A.
