摘要: An apparatus to provide thermal control to a patient comprises a neck member having a surface defining at least one opening, the surface configured to be spaced apart from a neck area of the patient. The neck member includes an air inlet to receive cooled air from an air source. The at least one opening is in fluid communication with the air inlet to direct cooled air from the air source and toward the neck area of the patient to provide the thermal control to the patient.

In one instance, an open-cavity, reduced-pressure treatment device includes a plurality of encapsulated leg members, each having an interior portion with a leg manifold member and formed with fenestrations operable to allow fluid flow into the interior portion, and a central connection member fluidly coupled to the plurality of encapsulated leg members. The central connection member has a connection manifold member. The open-cavity, reduced-pressure treatment devices, systems, and methods allow for, among other things, removal of fluids.

摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for debriding a tissue site, such as a wound, involve using solid CO2 particles and reduced pressure to cut and remove undesired tissue in a controlled manner. The system may urge the undesired tissue into a treatment cavity and then cut the undesired tissue with impinging CO2 particles. The CO2 particles sublime into a gas and present little or no mess. Other systems, methods, and apparatuses are presented.
