    摘要： Silane compositions of the general formula are provided herein comprising [(RO)x(R1)(3-x)—Si-Mt]q-L-[(Ra)cAr—(CR2═CR22)y]z wherein R and R1 are independently a hydrocarbon group of from 1 to about 20 carbon atoms; R2 are each independently hydrogen or a hydrocarbon group of from 1 to about 20 carbon atoms; M optionally is a divalent hydrocarbon connecting group of from 1 to about 20 carbon atoms to link the silicon atom and the L group; L is a covalently bound hydrocarbon linking group of from 1 to about 20 carbon atoms or a heteroatom linking group selected from the group consisting of —O—, —S—, —NR3— wherein R3 is hydrogen or a hydrocarbon group of from 1 to about 20 carbon atoms; Ra is an alkyl group of 1 to 12 carbon atoms; Ar is a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group; q is an integer of 1 to 4; t and c are each independently 0 or 1; and x, y and z are each independently integers of 1 to 3, inclusive, with the proviso that t is 1 when L is a heteroatom group. Also provided are processes for preparing the silane compositions and rubber composition comprising the silane compositions.

The organofunctional silanes and silane mixtures are useful, inter alia, as coupling agents for elastomeric compositions, e.g., rubber formulations employed in the manufacture of tires, where they exhibit a desirable balance of low scorch and good performance properties.

    摘要： An oligomer of the formula: [R3SiO½]m[O½Si(R2)O½]n[SiO{fraction (3/2)}R]o[SiO{fraction (4/2)}]p  (I) wherein each R is selected individually from the group consisting of R1, —OR2 and —OR3; each R1 is independently a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group; each R2 is a C1-C6 alkyl group or an acyl group; and each R3 is a independently an alkyl or alkenyl group having at least 8 carbon atoms; with the provisos that if R3 is alkenyl, there is no unsaturation within two carbon atoms adjacent to the oxygen atom of the —OR3 group; at least one R group is —OR3; at least one quarter of all R groups are —OR2 or —OR3; m=2 to 20; n=0 to 50; o=0 to 20; and p=0 to 10. The oligomer is a useful component of in insulation formulations for wire and cable used in underground locations.
