摘要: Electromagnetic relay having a coil-wound bobbin with flanges at each end, a reed mounted on one flange and extending through the bobbin, fixed contacts mounted on the other flange cooperating with a free end of the reed, and a casing formed by a base and a cover. An upwardly projecting peripheral wall is provided on the base, and the lower edge of the cover engages the peripheral wall. Coil, reed and contact terminals extend through bores formed in the casing base. Grooves in the lower side of the base communicate with the bores and with the lower ends of passages which emerge at the peripheral wall. Sealant filled in the grooves simultaneously seals the terminals in the bores and the cover to the base. When the cover engages the interior of the peripheral wall, webs provided on the upper side of the casing base confine the sealant to the bores and to pockets provided at the outer side of the cover. The bobbin flange interior has a separator against which the fixed contacts abut to define the spacing between the fixed contacts. The separator also defines the spacing between the free end of the reed and a permanent magnet which cooperates with pole shoes connected to the fixed contacts.

摘要: A reed type relay comprises a frame forming a cavity and having coil terminals. A bobbin assembly containing a coil is mounted in the cavity, this assembly having a flange at each end. A pair of magnetic poles energized by a permanent magnet as well as by the coil is pressed into one of these flanges and the base end of a reed is pressed into the other. This reed is elongated and extends along the bobbin assembly with its tip located between the poles so as to be movable into engagement with each of them.

摘要: An automobile airbag door is formed by a door base member, a door cover member, and a tear line. The door base member and the door cover member form a part of a base member and a part of a cover member of an instrument panel, respectively. When pressed by an airbag being deployed and inflated, the door base member is torn from the tear line. The first zone is defined as the bonded part between the outer surface of the door base member and the door cover member which extends along the tear line and includes a part on which the tear line is projected. The second zones are on both sides of the first zone and extend along the tear line. The automobile airbag door has a mechanism that makes the bond strength in the first zone weaker than the bond strength in each second zone.

摘要: In an on-board display apparatus, a transmission type display device is provided in front, displays a touch switch display when necessary, and operates as a touch panel. The transmission type display device can be turned to be transparent, and an image display device is provided rearward of the transparent portion. Since the display screen of the image display device toward the back, the visual range is long, and visibility can be improved. Since the display screen of the image display device and the display screen of the transmission type display device are not on the same plane, even if the touch switch display is touched by a finger, an image can be seen, and a pointer can be displayed on the display screen of the image display device in a position corresponding to the touched position.

摘要: There is provided a surgical treatment instrument in which the mode can be easily switched between a treatment under a pneumoperitoneum condition and a treatment outside the peritoneal cavity, and forceps can be manipulated under the pneumoperitoneum condition, and when taking out a cancer-affected part, an incision in the abdominal wall is protected, and the incision is free from infection. The surgical treatment instrument includes a tubular portion which has a first fixing member provided at a near end-side open portion thereof, and also has a second fixing member provided at a remote end-side open portion thereof. At least two tension belts are mounted on the second fixing member, and fixing means for adjusting the length of the tension belts to position the first fixing member is provided at the first fixing member.

摘要: An air-conditioning register includes a register panel, and a cylinder-shaped retainer. The register panel is disposed in a vehicle passenger room, and has an outlet opening for air-conditioning air. The retainer demarcates a ventilation passage communicated with the outlet opening of the register panel, and has an inner opposite end and a register-panel-side opposite end. The register-panel-side opposite end of the retainer includes at least one member selected from the group consisting of a top-surface wall, a bottom-surface wall and paired side-surface walls, which demarcates a surface of the ventilation passage, and which is disposed movably so as to make the surface movable between diminishing the ventilation passage and enlarging the ventilation passage adjacent to the outlet opening of the register panel.

摘要: A structure for holding switches in a passenger compartment of a vehicle. The structure includes a switchboard arranged on a panel in the passenger compartment. The switches are mounted on the switchboard. An accommodating case is arranged adjacent to the switchboard. A common shaft, which is shared by the switchboard and the accommodating case, pivotally supports the switchboard and the accommodating case. The switchboard and the accommodating case are each pivoted about the common shaft between a retracted position and an operational position. The switchboard and the accommodating case are each accommodated in the panel when located at the retracted position and exposed from the panel when located at the operational position. The switchboard remains at the retracted position when the accommodating case is located at the operational position.
