Abstract:
A pneumatic tire to be mounted on a normal rim, has a pair of bead parts each having a bead bottom surface seating on a rim seat of the normal rim and bead outside surface connecting with the bead bottom surface and abutting against a rim flange of the normal rim. The bead outside surface is provided with an exhaust extending outward in the radial direction from an inner end of the exhaust so as to form the air passage for escape of air between the rim flange and bead outside surface at the time of rim assembly. The inner end of the exhaust is positioned within a region remote from a bead base line by a distance of 0.5 to 1.5 times a separating point height Fh defined as a height in the radial direction from the bead base line to a separating point at which the bead outside surface separates from the rim flange.
Abstract:
A tire and rim combination including a flanged rim and a pneumatic tire. The tire includes a pair of bead parts each provided with a plurality of, preferably at least 8, pieces of exhaust ribs projecting from a bead outside surface and extending outwardly in a radial direction so as to form air passages for escape of air between a rim flange and the bead outside surface during rim assembly. A distance F1 from an inner end of the exhaust rib to a bead base line is in a range of 0.7 to 1.5 times a flange height FH measured from the bead base line, and a distance F2 from an outer end of the exhaust rib to the bead base line is not less than 1.1 times the flange height FH. The exhaust rib has a triangular sectional shape having a width of 0.5 to 1.0 mm and a height of 0.5 to 2.0 mm.

Abstract:
A pneumatic tire, in which, in a cross section including the tire axis, the bead profile is made of a curved line between a locus ofy=f(x(+1 mmand a locus ofy=f(x)-1 mmwhich are made when x-value is varied from -15.29 to 0.523, wherein ##EQU1## x is a variable indicating a relative radial distance in millimeter based on a reference point, defining the direction of increase of the x-value as being radially inward of the tire, and y is a variable indicating a relative axial distance in millimeter based on a reference point, defining the direction of increase of the y-value as being axially inward of the tire.

Abstract:
A chassis has rotatably mounted thereon a magazine for accommodating a plurality of disks as positioned upright. A playback portion and an insertion-discharge portion are arranged respectively inside and outside the magazine radially thereof. Roller units for holding and transporting the disk are provided between the insertion-discharge portion and the magazine and between the magazine and the playback portion, respectively. The roller units are coupled together by a train of gears and driven by a motor M3 to rotate in directions opposite to each other. Control apparatus is disposed within the device main body for energizing the motor M3 for a specified period of time before the magazine is rotated to rotate the roller units in directions to draw the disk into the magazine.
Abstract:
A pneumatic radial tire with a sum of tire maximum width W and tire maximum diameter D defined in a range from 750 mm to 1250 mm has a belt layer disposed radially outside a carcass. On the tire meridian section, a tread surface is curved along a single arc with a curvature radius TR1 having a center on the tire's equatorial plane, and a radially outer surface of the belt layer is curved along a single arc with a curvature radius BR1 having a center on the tire's equatorial plane. The curvature radius TR1 is larger than the curvature radius BR1, and a product of the curvature radius TR1 and the curvature radius BR1, that is, (TR1.times.BR1) is in a range from 33.7.times.10.sup.4 mm.sup.2 to 45.0.times.10.sup.4 mm.sup.2.
Abstract:
An electrical connector comprises a dielectric connector housing (30, 60) having contact-receiving cavities (31a, 62) in which electrical contacts (20, 50) are received, the contacts (20, 50) are received, the contacts (20, 50) have engaging projections (21, 54) extending upwardly from an upper surface which are engaged by free ends of resilient arms (37) extending inwardly from opposite sides of the contact-receiving cavities thereby restricting movement of the contacts in the contact-receiving cavities (31a, 62) in a direction opposite to that of the insertion direction. A vertical fin (23) is provided on the upper surface of the contacts (20, 50) and disposed between the resilient arms (37). The engaging projections (54) have a space (55) in which a rib (39) of an inner section of a wall of the contact-receiving cavities (31a, 62) is disposed.
Abstract:
A voice recorder includes a microphone. When a recording mode is selected, surrounding audio is fetched by the microphone, and corresponding audio data is recorded on a flash memory by an encode/decode IC. When a normal reproducing mode is selected, audio data is reproduced from the flash memory by the encode/decode IC, and a corresponding audio signal is output from a speaker. In the recording mode, the CPU assigns status information indicating “0” to each of one or more partial audio components forming the audio data. However, the status information of the partial audio component reproduced in the normal reproducing mode is updated to “1”. When a skip reproducing mode is selected, a partial audio component of which status information indicates “0” is detected and reproduced from the flash memory.
Abstract:
A method for reproducing digital information includes the steps of: transferring, with a control circuit, information in a hard disk drive to a memory simultaneously with completion of storage of the information in the hard disk drive from outside of a device body, based on the order or type of information to be reproduced, and reproducing the information from the memory. Furthermore, the method includes the step of providing, with the control circuit, a notification to the user that the transfer of the information to the memory is completed by transmitting a signal indicative thereof.
