    摘要: The signal processing circuit of the present invention comprises a drive unit and a processing unit for picture signal. The drive unit supplies each of the shift pulses separately to the electronic shutter shift register and the readout shift register. The processing unit for picture signal designates a control start position of a digital picture signal outputted from an A/D converter and performs interpolation processing thereon along the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. The drive unit adjusts cycles of each of the shift pulses for controlling a vertical-line readout rate of the solid-state imaging device, and then intermittently reads out the analog picture signal from the solid-state imaging device. The processing unit for picture signal performs vertical-line interpolation processing in accordance with the vertical-line readout rate for extending a part of picture area of the digital picture signal.

    摘要: An image processing device according to the present invention comprises an image signal operation unit, a correction data operation unit and a correcting unit. The image signal operation unit adjusts a white balance of an image signal by controlling a gain of the image signal for each color constituting the image signal. The correction data operation unit creates correction data for correcting an output of the image signal operation unit. The correcting unit further corrects the output of the image signal operation unit based on the correction data created by the correction data operation unit. According to the present invention, the white balance can be appropriately adjusted without losing subtle shades and shadows of a photographic object even in the case of an image signal including a noise level of a dark current.

    摘要: The image capture device of this invention includes: an optical system for producing a subject image; an imager, which receives the subject image and outputs an image signal representing the subject image; and an image processing section for zooming in on, or out, a given image based on the image signal and in accordance with information about a zoom power specified, to generate a new image signal with the zoom power changed. Until the zoom power specified reaches a predetermined value, the processing section zooms in on the image by interpolating pixels so that degree of sharpness given to the image increases. If a value representing illuminance of the image is a predefined value or more and if the zoom power is the predetermined value or more, the processing section fixes the degree of sharpness given to the image. And if the value representing the illuminance of the image is less than the predefined value and if the zoom power specified is the predetermined value or more, the processing section decreases the degree of sharpness given to the image.

    摘要: A charge transfer implemented by a transfer section for transferring charges stored in image sensor elements along one direction on a surface where the image sensor elements are disposed is halted for a predetermined length of time. The charges are transferred from the transfer section without reading the charges from the image sensor elements after the charge transfer is halted for the predetermined length of time. A position where a defect is generated in an image pickup sensor is identified based on signal levels of the transferred charges. A defective signal level of the image pickup sensor generated on a line including the defect-generating position and in parallel with the one direction is corrected. As a result of the foregoing process, a display failure is precisely corrected.
