摘要： A vacuum switch has a fixed electrode, a movable electrode facing the fixed electrode, an insulating cylinder, end plates covering both axial ends of the insulating cylinder, a vacuum chamber internally accommodating the fixed electrode and the movable electrode, and a solid isolation resin molded on the outside of the vacuum chamber, first coil springs, each of which is disposed around the outer circumference of one end plate while touching the end plate and an end face of the insulating cylinder, and second coil springs, each of which is united to one of the first springs and disposed around the outer circumference of the insulating cylinder so as to cover the angular part of the end face of the insulating cylinder, and the end plates, the end faces of the insulating cylinder, and the first and second coil springs are electrically connected.

摘要： An object of the invention is to provide a vacuum switch which can achieve a reduction of an electric loss and an improvement of a heat transmission performance by preventing an air gap portion from being generated between an electrode and a conductor rod and preventing the electrode and the conductor rod from generating any positional displacement. An electrode for a switch in accordance with the invention is provided with the conductor rod, a contact point electrode inserted to the conductor rod, and a coupling plate fixing both the elements to an outer side in a diametrical direction of the conductor rod and the contact point electrode, thereby fixing both the elements.

The lid has an insulating bushing through which an insulating rod penetrates, the insulating rod being connected to an operating mechanism, wherein the insulating rod except a portion exposed from the bushing is gas-tightly confined in insulating gas atmosphere formed between the insulating envelope and the insulating lid.
