摘要: A multi-directional spray nozzle is disclosed. The multi-directional spray nozzle may include a grip member and a pivotal member. A rounded end of the pivotal member pivotally engages a socket of the grip member in either a ball-and-socket configuration or a hinged joint configuration. An internal passage of the grip member is in fluid communication with a pivotal passage situated within the rounded end of the pivotal member. The pivotal passage is in fluid communication with an exit port on the pivotal member. A pressurized fluid may be emitted from an exit port on the pivotal member. The pivotal member may be positioned at various angles with respect to the grip member to direct the emitted fluid to a desired location.

摘要: A combination of mulch and sterilized organic fertilizer is provided for hydro seeding and hydro-mulching for seed establishment and erosion control. The composition includes hammer milled straw, horse manure and urine, sterilized with heat and processed to provide an optimal particle size. The incorporation of horse manure utilizes a dispersible natural fertilizer collected and processed within a certain time frame which provides an efficient method of recycling “green” horse manure” and liquid waste having a higher acidity than decomposed animal waste. Tackifiers and flocculants such as ground paper aid pumpability and help tack the straw fibers to the ground. The equipment includes a gas heat source, a dryer vessel and a processing unit. The dryer vessel receives the bedding composed of straw and manure for contact with the heated gases to convert the same to a sterilized dry material.

摘要: An irreversible label or indicator of whether a surface or object has received microwave exposure and to delineate microwave heating or oven heating. Because microwave cooking has become an ubiquitous method for food preparation, and that energy and power in a microwave oven can vary from one unit to another, and within the spatial volume of the appliance, it is desirable to have a dynamic indicator that can provide an effective indicator of microwave exposure under such conditions.

摘要: An inexpensive reusable device for measuring the temperature distribution in a substrate, such as meat, poultry, or fish, is disclosed. The device is easy to read, fast and convenient and low in cost without the use of batteries. The device, which utilizes thermochromic materials mounted on one or more metal carriers, can be inserted into or placed in contact with the substrate for determining the temperature gradient across the substrate.

摘要: A system and related techniques generate a unified representation of graphical representations, such as documents, graphic images or others, for displaying on a display screen, printing on a printer, faxing via a facsimile machine or outputting in other ways. In embodiments a media integration layer, which may reside in the operating system level, may generate renderings from graphics primitives, and send that rendering via a mediation engine to a device driver, for instance a print engine located in a printer. The device engine may return a preview of the output representation to the media integration layer for adjustments or to accept and print the output, all without a necessity for or reliance upon a device-specific driver in the operating system. Since both the display screen and the output device operate off of the same base representation, neither the display nor output device needs to attempt to emulate the output characteristics of the other, and screen-to-print uniformity may be enhanced.

摘要: A system and related techniques generate printing and other output operations via a resolution-independent visual tree object. According to embodiments the operating system or other resource may receive the visual tree object and related data from applications or other sources, and perform logic to scale or process the visual output for resolution, effects or other purposes directly from that object. The operating system or other resource itself may be configured to receive the componentized visual tree object and condition or render that object for output to a printer, facsimile machine, copy machine or other output device. The operating system may serialize or spool that object from the source object in native form, relieving applications of the need to prepare documents or other output objects to generate specified resolutions, effects or to adapt the output to specific output drivers.
