The present invention relates to an electric double-layer capacitor, comprising: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a non-aqueous electrolytic solution that includes a non-aqueous solvent and an electrolyte salt, the non-aqueous solvent including: a fluorine-containing ether; a fluorine-containing unsaturated compound (I); and a hydroxyl group-containing compound (II), the fluorine-containing ether being represented by the formula (1): Rf1—O—Rf2 (1) wherein Rf1 and Rf2 are the same as or different from each other, and are each a C1-C10 alkyl group or a C1-C10 fluoro-alkyl group, provided that at least one of Rf1 and Rf2 is a fluoro-alkyl group, the hydroxyl group-containing compound (II) being represented by the formula (2): Rf1OH (2) wherein Rf1 is as defined above, the total amount of the compounds (I) and (II) being 5,000 ppm or less based on the amount of the fluorine-containing ether.
