摘要: Disclosed herein are electro-mechanical polymer compositions comprising a ferroelectric polymer chain having a plurality of functional halogen monomer units. At least one of the plurality of functional halogen monomer units can comprise a fluorinated alkyne monomer unit. The electro-mechanical polymer compositions can have an electromechanical coupling factor of about 88% or greater and a piezoelectric coefficient of −1000 pm/V or less. Also disclosed herein are methods of making the same.

摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition including a fluororesin (A) and a crosslinked fluoroelastomer (B), wherein the fluororesin (A) is a copolymer that contains a chlorotrifluoroethylene unit and a tetrafluoroethylene unit and that has at least one functional group selected from a carbonyl group, an olefinic group and an amino group at a main chain terminal or side chain terminal of the polymer. The crosslinked fluoroelastomer (B) is obtained by subjecting a fluoroelastomer (b) to a dynamic crosslinking treatment along with a polyamine compound (c) having a thermal decomposition temperature of 210° C. or higher and a crosslinking accelerator (d) in the presence of the fluororesin (A) under conditions for melting the fluororesin (A). Also disclosed is a method for producing the thermoplastic composition, a molded article formed from the thermoplastic composition, and a laminated product including a resin layer formed from the thermoplastic composition.

摘要: A poling apparatus for poling a polymer thin film formed on a workpiece carried by a workpiece carrier. The workpiece has grounding electrodes and grounding pads located at edges, and a thin film covering the grounding electrodes but exposing the grounding pads. The workpiece carrier has carrier electrodes located around the workpiece and inside grounding ports at the bottom. The poling apparatus includes, in a poling chamber, a poling source generating a plasma, a Z-elevator to raise the workpiece carrier toward the poling source using the grounding ports, and grounding mechanisms including downwardly biased electrical contacts which, when the workpiece carrier is raised by the Z-elevator, connect the grounding pads of the workpiece with the carrier electrodes, to ground the workpiece. The poling apparatus additionally includes preparation platform and transfer platform with conveyer systems with rollers and Z-elevators to move the workpiece carrier in and out of the poling chamber.

The PPTC material may further include a conductive filler, disposed in the polymer matrix; and at least one polymer filler, dispersed within the polymer matrix. The at least one polymer filler may comprise a second polymer, different from the first polymer, wherein the at least one polymer comprises a first melting temperature, and wherein the second polymer comprises a second melting temperature, the second melting temperature exceeding the first melting temperature by at least 20 C.
