摘要: The present invention relates to a method for reducing auto-fluorescence signals from a sample tissue in confocal Raman microscopy and to a method for diagnosing skin cancers using the same method. Raman spectroscopy has strong potential for providing non-invasive diagnosis of skin cancer. Auto-fluorescence signals from tissues, which interfere with the Raman signals, were greatly reduced using a confocal slit adjustment. Distinct Raman band differences between normal and BCC tissues for the amide I mode, the amide III mode and the PO2− symmetric stretching mode, showed that the present invention has strong potential for use as a dermatological diagnostic tool without the need for statistical treatment of spectral data. It was also possible to precisely differentiate BCC tissue from surrounding non-cancerous tissue using the confocal Raman depth profiling technique. According to the present invention, confocal Raman microscopy can provide a novel method for dermatological diagnosis since direct observations of spectral differences between normal and BCC tissues are possible.

摘要: Electromagnetic control valve is disclosed. A permanent magnet and a needle are fitted in a cylindrical valve body, and a coil, and first and second yokes are mounted on an outside circumferential surface of the valve body. There are first and second ports in the valve body for making an outside space and an inside space of the valve body in communication. There is an orifice in the valve body for making the first and the second ports in communication. The needle is disposed at a position opposite to a side of the orifice, for moving in an up/down direction when a current is applied to the coil. Direction and amount of movement of the needle are dependent on a direction and an intensity of the current applied to the coil. When the needle moves, a tip of the needle varies an opened area of the orifice linearly, according to which a flow rate of the fluid passed through the orifice is controlled according to a position of the needle.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for detecting properties of a Metal Oxide Silicon (MOS) varactor, which includes: establishing a MOS varactor model equation in conjunction with an area of a gate; calculating values of the coefficients of the MOS varactor model equation through measurements for test materials; and extracting the properties of a capacitor of the MOS varactor using the calculated values of the coefficients. According to the method, the MOS varactor model equation can be expressed by Cgate=[Cigate×Area+Cpgate×Perimeter]×N, wherein, Cgate denotes gate capacitance for voltage applied to the gate, Cigate denotes intrinsic gate capacitance, Cpgate denotes perimeter gate capacitance, and N denotes the number of gate fingers. The MOS varactor model equation can be applicable to various sized capacitors, so that it is possible to estimate a gate capacitance for voltage applied to a gate, considering the differences due to the surface shapes of a device.
