The sheet-lateral-side passing zone is located closer to the axis or centerline of the sheet than the sheet abutting surface is and has a flat surface throughout the sheet conveying direction.

A double-sheet-detector control part judges whether an ultrasonic double sheet detector outputs double sheet detected signal during test printing or during feeding a first printing sheet of successively fed printing sheets in large quantity or successive printing.     摘要: In a card connector for use in connection of a card, a guide portion connected to a connector body. The guide portion is adapted to guide movement of the card with respect to the connector body. A selecting portion is connected to the guide portion and has an engaging portion. When the card has a predetermined thickness, the selecting portion is elastically deformed by contact with the card to allow further movement of the card. When the card is thinner than the predetermined thickness, the engaging portion is engaged with the card to inhibit further movement of the card.

    摘要: Track deviation of a recorded track on a magnetic tape is measured in a non-destructive manner according to a measuring method and an apparatus employing the same. A magnetic tape recorded with an FM signal on its tracks conforming to a standard system, is loaded to the apparatus conforming to the same standard, and having a rotary drum with a head, thereby the tape is transported in a longitudinal direction and scanned helically by the head, the apparatus comprises device for setting measuring points along the tracks, device for stepwise shifting the tape causing head positions to displace stepwise along a track traversing line passing the measuring points perpendicularly to the tracks, device for measuring levels of the FM signal at displaced positions of the head device for converting thus measured levels into digital data, device for estimating, by using the digital data, a specific head position at which a maximum level of the FM signal is reproduced within each of the track traversing line, each specific head position having a positional value and device for subtracting a predetermined positional value from each positional value of the specific rotary head positions located along the tracks, wherein the predetermined positional value is determined to be a track center of standard track having a slant angle conforming to the standard, so that values of the track deviation varying along a track are measured.

    摘要: An overlap detection apparatus mounted to a printing press includes a sheet detection sensor for detecting whether a portion of the sheets passing a given position is a non-overlapping portion or an overlapping portion; a signal output section for outputting an overlapping signal on the basis of the detected results of the sheet detection sensor, in which the overlapping signal takes a first form for the overlapping portion and takes a second form for the non-overlapping portion; and a determination section for determining that the sheets of paper are being correctly conveyed while each being displaced by a given amount from an upstream sheet of paper in the conveying direction and overlapping the same when a portion of the overlapping signal taking the first form is equal to a given reference portion, and determines that the sheets of paper are not being correctly conveyed when the portion of the overlapping signal taking the first form is not equal to the given reference portion.
