摘要： An expiration valve for an automatic respirator comprises a main body which is separable into a valve body and a diaphragm and a container which engages to a tube for supplying control pressure to one side of the diaphragm. A means for controlling such an expiration valve comprises a means for generating pressure for opening and closing the valve, a means for controlling this pressure, a pressure detector means, an exhaust means and a control means so that the valve can be electronically controlled for both the valve opening/closing functions and for the positive end expiratory pressure function.

摘要： A facsimile apparatus having a memory transmission function which enables a reply to a facsimile-transmitted original to be automatically reminded of at predetermined period of time. When transmission to a receiving side facsimile apparatus requiring a reminder is performed, the memory transmission function stores image data transmitted as data used for reminding the receiving side facsimile apparatus of a reply in an image data storing section. Additionally, the memory transmission function stores the telephone number and called subscriber identification number of the receiving side facsimile apparatus, the time of the transmission to the receiving side facsimile apparatus, the expected time of reception, the number of retransmissions, and the address number of the image in a transmission data storing section. When the facsimile transmitted original is replied to in the form of a transmission from the receiving side facsimile apparatus, the data used for reminding the stored facsimile apparatus of a reply is erased. Where no reply from the receiving side facsimile apparatus is received, or when any of the expected times of reception stored in the transmission data storing section exceeds the present time, a main control section performs dialing based on the telephone number corresponding to the expected time of reception, and then transmits the image data corresponding to that telephone number.

摘要： The principal objects of the invention is to provide diamond fine particles with a surface nature so improved as to form a stable, uniform suspension or dispersion in a common medium such as water and alcohol. Another object is to provide an effective technique for producing hydrophilic diamond fine particles by chemically modifying the particle surface nature, while removing at the same time contaminants and foreign materials which coexist with the diamond. In the invention, diamond particles are treated by boiling in the treatment fluid of sulfuric acid solution, which is in particular of concentrated or fuming nature, at a temperature more than 200° C., which is preferably 250° C. or more.

摘要： A communication system is disclosed having a portable radio called receiver and a communication apparatus for calling this receiver. The portable radio called receiver includes a display and a tone generating circuit. The communication apparatus includes a determination circuit, a control circuit, a voice signal recording device, a facsimile device, a memory, and a data processing circuit. The determination circuit determines whether a signal entered through a telephone line is a facsimile signal or a voice signal. The memory stores display data indicating the reception of an image signal, display data indicating the reception of a voice signal, and telephone number data of the portable radio called receiver. The control circuit is responsive to the output of the determination circuit to select one of the plurality of display data stored in the memory. The data processing circuit modulates the calling number of the portable radio called receiver and the selected display data and transmits the same on the telephone line. With such a structure, the display of the portable radio called receiver can display whether the received signal of the communication apparatus is an image signal or a voice signal.
