Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an image processing apparatus including: a storage section configured to store a correction matrix correcting crosstalk generated by a light or electron leak from an adjacent pixel existing among a plurality of pixels for receiving light in an imaging device; and a processing section configured to carry out processing to apply the correction matrix stored in the storage section to an image signal generated by the imaging device for each of the pixels.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus for generating a template in which is arranged a plurality of areas where content data can be inserted, includes a setting unit configured to associate the areas with one another, a determination unit configured to determine based on the content data whether the areas are to be arranged in a vertical direction or in a horizontal direction as an arrangement direction, a layout unit configured to arrange the areas in the arrangement direction determined by the determination unit, an input unit configured to input the content data into the areas arranged by the layout unit, and an output unit configured to output the areas where the content data is inserted by the input unit.
Abstract:
A management server issues and stores a virtual identifier for an image forming apparatus, and manages a virtual device that includes management information about the image forming apparatus by associating the virtual device with the virtual identifier. The management server receives an acquisition request for a virtual device that includes the actual identifier for the image forming apparatus and a virtual identifier from the image forming apparatus. The management server specifies the virtual device corresponding to the virtual identifier included in the virtual device acquisition request from among the managed virtual devices. Further, the management server replaces the virtual identifier included in the specified virtual device with the actual identifier included in the virtual device acquisition request, and then returns this virtual device to the image forming apparatus.
Abstract:
As multiphase clocks to be supplied to a first gate driver that drives odd-numbered scanning lines in a liquid crystal display region and a second gate driver that drives even-numbered scanning lines, clocks, which are effective within an effective period of the image signal just before an image signal starts to be supplied to display elements for each scanning line of the liquid crystal display region, is generated and the first and second gate drivers drive switching elements in the effective period of the clock.
Abstract:
In a proxy printing system, one print job is transmitted to a first one of printers connected over a network, and when a print failure occurs in the first printer, a second networked printer processes the print job to perform proxy printing. The system detects a failure of the first printer attempting to process the print job and issues a notification. In accordance with managed history information for the first printer, the proxy printing system detects whether a printer that has previously processed a print job as a proxy for the first printer exists out of the networked printers. The system issues a notification indicating at least one detected printer as a proxy destination candidate. The system performs control so that the printer is used to execute proxy print processing, and updates the history management table after the execution of the proxy print processing.

Abstract:
A shift register having a plurality of stages connected in cascade shifts an output signal by a plurality of clocks having different phases. Each of the stage includes an input diode to which a signal is input from a preceding stage, a capacitor for holding charge having a voltage level of the input signal, a first transistor that is turned on or off by the held voltage level to output an output signal to a following stage in synchronization with a clock signal, and a second transistor connected between the input diode and an output terminal. A control electrode of the second transistor is connected to the input diode in the following stage. The second transistor has a clamping function for discharging the accumulated charge and turning off the first transistor when the clock signal is phase-shifted.
Abstract:
There are provided a data processing apparatus, a data processing method, and a computer-readable recording medium, in which icons which enable the user to visually identify functions possessed by information processing devices on a network can be displayed on virtual system construction display screen. The data processing method has the steps of: discriminating the information processing device having a server function, storing information showing which server function the information processing device having a server function discriminated by the server function discriminating step has into server function type memory means, and when it is determined by the server function discriminating step that the information processing device has at least one server function, displaying such an information processing device onto the virtual system construction display screen by character information expressing such a function.
