摘要： A rotary switch includes a contact forming member including a switch contact and a land contact and an elastic plate including a base portion mounted on the land contact and an abutment portion disposed above the switch contact. A rotor is disposed above the elastic plate for pivotal movement and includes depresser portions provided in the lower surface of the rotor for depressing the elastic plate. When the rotor is rotated, the depresser portions of the rotor cause the elastic plate to be depressed, so that the abutment portion is engaged with the switch contact. The contact forming member may be constructed by forming the switch contact and the land contact on a circuit substrate. The contact forming member may be constructed by a metal plate on which the switch contact is formed, a metal plate on which the land contact is formed, and a stationary member on which the metal plates are secured.

摘要： The invention provides a mounting construction in which an electronic component is mounted on a flexible substrate. The mounting construction comprises a flexible substrate including a flexible sheet, bendable electrode pattern forming portions formed on the flexible sheet, and electrode patterns formed on the electrode pattern forming portions, an electronic component having electrode portions, and a clamping member having clamping pieces for clamping the electronic component therebetween. The electrode pattern forming portions are deflected, so as to cause the electrode patterns to be contacted with the electrode portions of the electronic component placed on the flexible substrate. By this, the electronic component is clamped by the clamping pieces of the clamping member through the deflected electrode pattern forming portions. Thus, the electronic component may be easily and positively secured to the flexible substrate, without employing additional reinforcing means such as adhesives.

摘要： In a conferencing system comprising telephones and workstations, a conference display control method for a visual user interface is provided. A conference window is displayed on a workstation display during a teleconference and includes a meeting table area as a shared space and a local area which cannot be seen by the other participants. Document objects corresponding to a document application program which is used in the conference are arranged on those areas. The distribution of the documents, reference of information, and execution of the application program can be executed by direct manipulation of objects using a mouse. In the conference window, the document object can be operated at both the cooperative work place and the local work place. Further, the conference window is displayed on the workstation display during the teleconference execution, the conference documents are sharingly executed by an OHP (overhead projector) object on the conference window, and the documents during the shared execution are displayed in an OHP area, so that the kind of document which is being executed can be grasped. Moreover, when a participant participates in a plurality of teleconferences on a communication network by one teleconference terminal, one teleconference can be recognized as a specific conference space, so that the user can selectively use a plurality of teleconferences without confusing them.

Prior to the communication with the called subscriber, the user at each of the terminal equipment requests the information server to transmit the personal record of the called subscriber, and determines both the status of the called subscriber and the optimal communication equipment by referring to the contents of the personal record received from the information server.
