    摘要: A backlight module and a light emitting diode (LED) light bar thereof are proposed. The backlight module includes a plurality of LEDs, at least one circuit board, a heat sink, a plurality of screws, and a light guide plate (LGP). The plurality of LEDs are arranged on the at least one circuit board. A plurality of screws are arranged on the at least one circuit board and the arrangement method thereof depends on temperature distribution of the at least one circuit board. The plurality of screws are inserted between the plurality of LEDs and are arranged at an unequally distance so that temperature can be evenly distributed over the LED light bar, thereby improving image quality of display devices.

    摘要: The present invention provides a light guide plate and a backlight module containing the light guide plate. The light guide plate includes a plate body and a metal layer formed on the plate body. The plate body includes a bottom face, a top face opposite to the bottom face, and a plurality of side faces between the bottom face and the top face. The metal layer is formed on at least one side edge of the top face. The metal layer shows reflectivity of which difference is less than 20% for lights having wavelength between 380-780 nm. The light guide plate uses the metal layer formed on the top face to reflect light back into the light guide plate to confine the light within the light guide plate so as to prevent light leakage and ensure light intensity and homogeneity of the light guide plate.

With H indicating height of shape features of the upper microstructures and P indicating spacing between the shape features of the upper microstructures, the shape features of the upper microstructures show a distribution that is variable in the light propagation direction in such a way that the variation satisfies the condition that aspect ratio H/P of the upper microstructures at the proximal side of the light guide plate is less than aspect ratio H/P of the upper microstructures at the remote side of the light guide plate.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing LED light bar, which includes the following steps: (1) providing light-emitting dies of different sizes; (2) measuring luminous intensities of the light-emitting dies; (3) selecting among the light-emitting diodes ones of which the luminous intensities are different from each other by less than 5%; (4) encapsulating the selected ones of the light-emitting dies to form LED lights, which are of substantially identical encapsulated size; and (5) mounting and electrically connecting the LED lights to a printed circuit board to form an LED light bar. The method for manufacturing LED light bar according to the present invention uses light-emitting dies of different sizes so as to improve utilization rate of an entire wafer and effectively reduce the manufacture cost.

The light guide plate includes a plate body and a coating layer formed on the plate body.
