    摘要: A registration mark is a toner image which has a first linear pattern and a second linear pattern, which extend along a main scanning direction, and a two-dimensional pattern. The first linear pattern, the two-dimensional pattern and the second linear pattern are arranged apart from each other in this order along a transporting direction. In short, the linear patterns and extending along the main scanning direction are formed spaced apart from the two-dimensional pattern, one toward the upstream side and the other toward the downstream side, along the transporting direction. This suppresses the edge effect along the transporting direction and realizes accurate detection of the position of each registration mark by a test pattern sensor.

    摘要: Prior to the formation of registration pattern images (Step S7), base information is acquired by means of a test pattern sensor detecting a surface of an intermediate transfer belt or particularly a surface of a pattern formation region thereof. A surface condition of the pattern formation region is acquired based on the base information thus acquired, while the formation of the registration pattern images is controlled based on the surface condition. In this manner, the registration pattern images are formed with an adequate consideration given to the surface condition of the pattern formation region where the registration pattern images are to be formed (Step S7). Hence, the positions of the registration pattern images may be detected with high accuracies. As a result, a proper correction of color registration offset may be accomplished, assuredly preventing the occurrence of the color registration offset or degraded color tone.

    摘要: A registration mark is a toner image which has a first linear pattern and a second linear pattern, which extend along a main scanning direction, and a two-dimensional pattern. The first linear pattern, the two-dimensional pattern and the second linear pattern are arranged apart from each other in this order along a transporting direction. In short, the linear patterns and extending along the main scanning direction are formed spaced apart from the two-dimensional pattern, one toward the upstream side and the other toward the downstream side, along the transporting direction.     摘要: The invention provides an image forming apparatus and an image forming method capable of smoothly and reasonably conducting image formation in case of using a lens (lenses) of which optical magnification is minus. An image forming apparatus of the invention comprises: a line head having lenses of which optical magnification is minus and a light emitter array in which a plurality of light emitting elements are aligned. The lenses are plural in an axial direction (main scanning direction) of an image carrier and a direction (sub scanning direction) perpendicular to the axial direction. A light emitter block composed of “m×n” (in number) light emitting elements is disposed relative to each lens. The “m×n” light emitting elements comprises “n” (in number) light emitting element lines arranged in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction and each light emitting element line includes “m” (in number) light emitting elements aligned in the axial direction. The image forming apparatus further comprises: a control means for actuating the respective light emitting elements to emit lights to be inversed in the axial direction and the direction perpendicular to the axial direction to form an image on the image carrier. In this manner, images of plural colors are formed on the image carrier at once.
