摘要: A stepless speed change device including an eccentric cam assembly whose eccentricity is adjustable relative to a center shaft, a carrier rotatably arranged about the eccentric cam assembly, rotary members on input and output sides, respectively, and a plurality of friction pieces arranged in two rows each including a plurality of the friction pieces. The friction pieces in one row are rockably connected to the rotary member on the input side and free ends of the friction pieces are engaged with an inside of the carrier. The friction pieces in the other row are rockably connected to the carrier and free ends of the friction pieces are engaged with an inside of the rotary member on the output side. As an alternative, all the friction pieces are rockably connected to the carrier and free ends of the friction pieces in one row and the other row are engaged with insides of the rotary members on the input and output sides, respectively.

摘要: A stepless speed change device comprising an internally toothed ratchet formed in an inner circumference of a driving rotary body, a floating ring having an inner diameter smaller than a root diameter of teeth of the internally toothed ratchet and arranged in floating condition in side-by-side relation to the internally toothed ratchet, and a plurality of pawls whose distal ends engage the teeth of the internally toothed ratchet and inscribe the floating ring. Bottoms of the pawls are pivotally connectd to a driven rotary body rotatably provided on an eccentric cam assembly whose eccentricity is adjustable.

摘要: A stepless speed change device comprises internally toothed ratchet rings arranged in plural rows side by side in an axial direction on an inner circumference of a driving rotary member on an input side through one-way clutches interposed therebetween, a stationary ring fixed to a frame of a bicycle and encircling the driving rotary member, a plurality of planet rollers rotatably fitted in the driving rotary member at plural locations, pawls in plural rows to engage ratchets of the internally toothed ratchet rings and having bottoms pivotally connected to an eccentric cam whose eccentricity relative to a center shaft is adjustable, and a resilient member provided in contact with the planet rollers to produce the frictional transmission between the stationary ring and the internally toothed ratchet rings respectively and the planet rollers. When the driving rotary member is being rotated the planet rollers are revolved together with the driving rotary member and at the same time are rotated about their axes with the aid of the frictional transmission and the internally toothed ratchet rings are rotated by the planet rollers with the aid of the frictional transmission.

摘要: A stepless speed change device for a bicycle comprises a plurality of planetary members journaled in a carrier fixed to a crankshaft of the bicycle in two parallel planes perpendicular to the crankshaft, planetary gears respectively fitted on the planetary members through one-way clutches so as to rotate in one direction, an eccentric shifter having a circular track for guiding rocking pins extending from and eccentric to the planetary members, the eccentric shifter capable of changing its eccentricity relative to the crankshaft and a sun gear connected to a crank gear as an output portion of the device, thereby making it possible to make the diameters of the planetary gears much larger than that of the sun gear so as to make much larger the speed-up transmission ratio and at the same time increase the number of planetary gears to make small pulsations in transmission force. According to the invention, the device includes a speed change operating device having for itself a performance of a reverse input allowing device so as to effectively bring the stepless speed change device into practical use. In this manner, the stepless speed change device becomes light weight and small-sized as a whole.

摘要: An inscribed transmission device includes a substantially crescent-shaped space between an internal gear and an external gear circumscribingly in mesh with each other. The device comprises a rolling space holder having two sets of two rollers whose centers are situated on radial axes in the crescent-shaped space on both sides of a straight line connecting centers of the internal and external gears. The internal and external gears are provided with roller rolling portions on which the rollers roll. The two sets of rollers are supported by a block member or side plates. The rolling space holder smoothly moves to keep the crescent-shaped space, thereby preventing unintentional disengagement of the internal and external gears.

摘要: A stepless speed change device comprises first ratchet rings arranged in plural rows side by side in an axial direction on an inner circumferential surface of a rotary member on an input side through one-way clutches interposed therebetween, and an eccentric cam assembly arranged on a center shaft. An eccentricity of the cam assembly is adjustable relative to the center shaft. The device further comprises first pawls in plural rows to engage ratchets provided in the ratchet rings and having bottoms pivotally connected to a carrier rotatably provided on the eccentric cam assembly. The bottoms of the pawls in one row are between the bottoms of the pawls in the other row. The device comprises second ratchet rings arranged in plural rows side by side in the axial direction on an inner circumferential surface of an annular portion formed integrally with the carrier through one-way clutches interposed therebetween, second pawls in plural rows to engage second ratchets provided in the second ratchet rings and having bottoms pivotally connected to a rotary member on an output side. The bottoms of the further pawls in one row are between said bottoms of the further pawls in the other row.

摘要: A power transmission mechanism includes a gear member and an annular and eccentric floating member having internal gear teeth meshed with external gear teeth of the gear member. A pair of guide plates provided on both outer sides of either the gear member or floating member prevent lateral disengagement of the floating member from the gear member. A pair of seal rings arranged between the inner sides of the guide plates and the outer sides of either the floating member or gear member prevent entry of dust or the like foreign material into a substantially closed space between the teeth of the gear member and the floating member, to thereby improve the durability of the mechanism.

摘要: The disclosed speed-change gear includes a fitting secured to the frame of a bicycle, a parallel link means having an outside link and an inside link whose one ends are pivotally connected to the fitting, a movable member pivotally connected to the opposite ends of the inside and outside links, a changeover frame rotatably secured to the movable member, which changeover frame carries a guide wheel and a tension wheel of a chain, and a cam means adapted to selectively move said movable member so as to shift the speed-change ratio by changing the position of said changeover frame to shift the chain to the desired step of a multi-step sprocket assembly of the bicycle. The cam means has a spring-biased cam rotatably mounted on a shaft connecting the outside link to the fitting, which cam rotates together with a wire-operated reel coaxially mounted on said shaft. The rotation of the cam actuates said parallel link means through a lever pivotally carried by a shaft connecting the inside link to the fitting.
