    摘要： An array substrate includes a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode. The first pixel electrode includes first branch electrode portions and second branch electrode portions. The first branch electrode portions are disposed in a first area of a unit pixel area and are substantially parallel to a first side of the unit pixel area. The second branch electrode portions are disposed in a second area of the unit pixel area and are substantially parallel to a second side of the unit pixel area. The second pixel electrode includes third branch electrode portions disposed between the first branch electrode portions and fourth branch electrode portions disposed between the second branch electrode portions.

    摘要： An array substrate includes first and second pixel electrodes. The first pixel electrode includes a plurality of first slit electrode portions and a first supporting electrode portion connected with the first slit electrode portions. The first slit electrode portions extend in a zigzag fashion along the shape of a unit pixel area and a first direction. The second pixel electrode includes a plurality of second slit electrode portions and a second supporting electrode portion connected with the second slit electrode portion. The second slit electrode portions extend in the zigzag fashion along the shape of the unit pixel area and the first direction. Side visibility and a response time may be improved, so that display quality may be improved.

    摘要： An optical film assembly includes a first polarization plate disposed below a liquid crystal layer and having a first absorption axis, a second polarization plate disposed above the liquid crystal layer and having a second absorption axis, an A-plate disposed between the first polarization plate and the second polarization plate, and a negative C-plate disposed between the first polarization plate and the second polarization plate. A thickness-direction phase retardation value of the negative C-plate is equal to or less than a value acquired by subtracting about 75 nanometers from a thickness-direction phase retardation value of the liquid crystal layer and the thickness-direction phase retardation value of the negative C-plate is equal to or greater than a value acquired by subtracting about 275 nanometers from the thickness-direction phase retardation value of the liquid crystal layer.

    摘要： A display substrate includes a base substrate, a reflection-polarization member, a first electrode, an insulation layer and a pixel wall. The reflection-polarization member is disposed on the base substrate to reflect and polarize incident light. The first electrode is disposed in a unit pixel area of the reflection-polarization member. The insulation layer is disposed on the first electrode. The pixel wall is disposed on the insulation layer and defines the unit pixel area. Therefore, the entire area of a unit pixel may be used as a reflective area or a transmissive area, and thus an aperture ratio may be improved in a reflection mode or a transmission mode.
