摘要:
An integrated access system for All-IP converged network is provided. According to an aspect, by integrating the common factors of existing complex wireless networks to load-reduce and simplify the wireless networks and convert them using Internet access technology to thereby simplify a network architecture, integratively operating radio accesses, ensuring end-to-end quality, and providing service adaptiveness, easiness in operation, CAPEX/OPEX, and excellent service adaptiveness can be achieved.

A multicasting method and apparatus in a network including a transport multiprotocol label switch (T-MPLS) network and a wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) network are disclosed. At least one of first switches, connected to the T-MPLS network, second switches connected to the WDM network, and a switch hub establishes a multicasting path by using a label switch path (LSP) ID and a label switch router (LSR) ID, in which the first switch on the multicasting path multicasts a T-MPLS signal, the switch hub converts the T-MPLS signal into an optical multicasting signal and multicasts the converted optical multicasting signal, and the second switch receives the optical multicasting signal and multicasts it in units of the T-MPLS signal.

Disclosed herein are a Tandem Connection Monitoring (TCM) method in an MPLS network and a data structure of a Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) OAM packet for TCM. When data are provided to users through an LSP path comprising multiple network provider in an MPLS network, the method makes it possible to independently measure LSP performance at a user level, a service provider level, and a network provider level, detect quality degradation of ingress signals by measuring performance of a preceding network, and newly measure the performance quality at the current network regardless of the performance quality of the preceding network.

An Internet Protocol Television (IP-TV) broadcasting service system and method using a physical layer multicast switch are provided. The system comprises: a head end which converts an Ethernet signal to a virtual concatenation group (VCG) signal of a synchronous digital hierarchy/synchronous optical network (SDH/SONET); a multicast switch which multicasts the VCG signal in a physical layer; and a tail end which receives the multicasted VCG signal through a Synchronous Transmission Module level n (STM-N) optical link and restores the VCG signal to the Ethernet signal. Therefore, high quality TV broadcasting can be provided in an IP multicast network.

Disclosed are a system for managing virtual private networks (VPNs) includes: terminals configured to transmit user data; a manager configured to transmit information for concealing networks and managing the VPNs; border gateways configured to decrypt the user data and perform a network address translation (NAT) procedure and a filtering procedure on the decrypted user data based on the information; and servers configured to receive the user data subjected to the NAT procedure and the filtering procedure, wherein the filtering procedure is a procedure discarding the user data to be transferred to the servers that are not allowed so as to allow the terminals to access only the allowed servers, the NAT procedure is a procedure changing an Internet protocol (IP) address used in a first network to an IP address used in a second network, and the first network and the second network are different networks.

Provided is a network-based Internet Protocol (IP) multicast service reception controlling apparatus and method. Data corresponding to a multicast channel may be controlled based on a snooping table. The snooping table may be updated based on the service profile. The snooping table may be updated based on a control message, and the control message may be based on whether a user is subscribed to the multicast channel. Whether data corresponding to the multicast channel is to be transmitted may be determined based on whether the data is being transmitted to another user in response to a request from the other user.

There is provided a method and system for detecting and responding to harmful traffic. The system includes a router determining whether or not received data is harmful traffic, by using a dynamic flow identification (DFI) function and a deep packet inspection (DPI) function, sending Cflowd information of the received data, and then encapsulating the received data when the received data is determined to be harmful traffic, a policy & resource control entity receiving the Cflowd information from the router, determining whether or not the received data is harmful traffic by using the received Cflowd information, and then sending a result of the determination to the router, and a security management server receiving the encapsulated data from the router, reconfirming whether or not the encapsulated data is harmful traffic, and then processing the encapsulated data.

An emergency call service system in an Internet Protocol (IP) network and a method thereof are provided. The system includes a policy control server, an emergency call agent, a call agent, and a network manager. The policy control server generates position information of a user terminal by mapping an IP address and local information to an identification (ID) of the user terminal. The emergency call agent detects a suitable emergency center for the user terminal sending an emergency call, and makes an emergency-call connection between the user terminal and the emergency center. The call agent relays the emergency call of the user terminal to the emergency call agent. The network manager stores position information of the user terminal generated through the policy control server, provides the emergency call agent with the position information of the user terminal sending the emergency call, and performs a resource reservation for the emergency-call connection.
摘要:
Performance values between an access point (AP) and one or more networks to which the AP is connected are measured, and performance information is generated based on the measured performance values. When a request for the performance information is received from a terminal connected to the AP, the performance information is broadcast to the terminal at a pre-set time to allow the terminal to select an optimum AP based on the received performance information and attempt to access a wireless network.
