摘要： A method and apparatus for communications in a passive optical network (PON) system are provided. An optical line terminal (OLT) generates a PON downstream Physical Layer (PHY) frame comprising a downstream physical synchronization block (PSBd) that comprises a wavelength identification (ID) of at least one downstream wavelength of the plurality of downstream wavelengths. The OLT sends the PON PHY frame comprising the wavelength ID in the PSBd to ONU for confirming the at least one downstream wavelength.

摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a service transmission method and a device and a system for implementing the method. The method includes: recognizing a type of a received client service, encapsulating an OTN service, and generating an OTN signal frame or a lower order ODU; querying a tag forwarding base to acquire forwarding information of the OTN signal frame or the lower order ODU; acquiring tag information, and inserting the tag information into an overhead of the OTN signal frame or the lower order ODU; and forwarding the OTN signal frame according to the forwarding information. Therefore, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the forwarding and the transmission of the service may be performed in an OTN plane only, thereby reducing hardware modules of an MPLS plane.

The master station device includes: a control unit that assigns a wavelength to be used in communication to the slave station device, and that generates a control signal for notifying the slave station device of the assigned wavelength; and an optical transmitter that transmits the control signal generated by the control unit to the slave station device. The slave station device includes an optical receiver and an optical transmitter that carry out communication with the master station device using the wavelength based on the control signal received from the master station device.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide an optical network unit ONU registration method, apparatus, and system, to resolve a problem in the prior art that a registration process is cumbersome. The method includes: receiving an uplink optical signal, where the uplink optical signal carries ONU authentication information; sending the optical signal to a corresponding MAC module separately according to a wavelength of uplink light; extracting, by the MAC module, the ONU authentication information, and sending the extracted ONU authentication information to a processor; and receiving, by the processor, the ONU authentication information, and determining whether the ONU authentication information is consistent with ONU authentication information configured by an OLT, where if the ONU authentication information is consistent with the ONU authentication information configured by the OLT, an ONU is registered successfully.

The method also includes transmitting a transmission bandwidth notification to the ONU, and transmitting, to the ONU, a notification of the sleep period in which deactivation of the transmission function is allowed.
