    摘要： A digital broadcast receiver and a method of controlling data for an emergency alert system (EAS) in a digital broadcast receiver are provided. The method includes receiving a digital broadcast signal including an emergency alert table including a uniform resource identifier (URI) descriptor, detecting a URI address included in the URI descriptor, accessing the URI address, receiving additional emergency alert information from the URI address, and performing control to display the additional emergency alert information on a screen of the digital broadcast receiver.
