Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least one aqueous phase containing (i) at least a first hydrophilic gelling agent chosen from non-starchy polysaccharides; and (ii) at least a second hydrophilic gelling agent chosen from 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid polymers and copolymers; at least one oily phase containing (a) at least a first lipophilic gelling agent chosen from amino acid-based gelling agents; and (b) at least a second lipophilic gelling agent chosen from dextrin esters; and said composition also comprising at least one UV-screening agent.
Abstract:
Topically applicable, fluid anti-sun/sunscreen compositions useful for protecting the skin and/or the hair against the damaging effects of ultraviolet radiation, contain: (a) at least one photoprotective system for screening out UV radiation; and (b) at least one tertiary-amide-terminated polyamide (ATPA) polymer, formulated into a topically applicable, cosmetically acceptable aqueous support therefor; the subject anti-sun/sunscreen compositions are especially provided as sprays, notably for the purpose of increasing the sun protection factor (SPF) and/or of reducing or even eliminating the fluffing effect thereof.
Abstract:
Cosmetic or dermatological composition comprising at least a merocyanine and a hydrotrope The present invention relates to a cosmetic or dermatological composition comprising an aqueous phase, and a merocyanine of formula (I): and at least one hydrotrope chosen from nicotinamide, caffeine, salicylic acid salts, the sodium salt of pyroglutamic acid (sodium PCA), sodium 1,3-benzenedisulfonate, sodium benzoate, sodium 4-pyridinecarboxylate, sodium benzenesulfonate, sodium p-toluenesulfonate (NaPTS), sodium butyl monoglycol sulfate (NaBMGS), 4-aminobenzoic acid HCl, sodium cumene sulfonate, N,N-diethyl nicotinamide, N-picolyl nicotinamide, N-allyl nicotinamide, 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine, resorcinol, pyrogallol, N-picolylacetamide, procaine HCl, proline HCl, pyridine, 3-picolylamine, sodium ibuprofen, sodium xylene sulfonate (SXS), ethyl carbamate, pyridoxal hydrochloride, sodium benzoate, N,N-dimethylacetamide, N-methylacetamide, isoniazid, and mixtures thereof.
Abstract:
Anti-sun composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprising at least one mixture of surfactants The present invention relates to a composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprising a) at least one continuous aqueous phase, b) at least one oily phase dispersed in said aqueous phase, c) at least one mixture of surfactants comprising i) one or more fatty acid esters of a polyalkylene glycol, ii) one or more fatty acid esters of glycerol, iii) one or more fatty acids in free form and iv) one or more alkali metal salts of anester of phosphoric acid and of a fatty alcohol, and d) one or more UV-screening agents. The present composition has a viscosity of less than or equal to 0.10 Pa·s at a temperature of 25° C., the viscosity being measured using a Rheomat 180 (from the company Lamy), equipped with an MS-R1, MS-R2, MS-R3, MS-R4 or MS-R5 spindle chosen according to the consistency of the composition, rotating at a rotation speed of 200 rpm. The present invention also relates to a non-therapeutic cosmetic process for limiting the darkening of the skin and/or improving the colour and/or uniformity of the complexion, comprising the application, to the surface of the skin, of at least one composition as defined previously. The present invention also relates to a non-therapeutic cosmetic process for preventing and/or treating the signs of ageing of a keratin material, comprising the application, to the surface of the keratin material, of at least one composition as defined previously.
