Abstract: The present specification is drawn to an organic light emitting device and a method of manufacturing the same. The organic light emitting device includes a short circuit preventing layer provided on a substrate; a first electrode provided on the short circuit preventing layer, and including two or more conductive units provided to be separated from each other; a second electrode provided opposite to the first electrode; one or more organic material layers provided between the first electrode and the second electrode; and an auxiliary electrode. The short circuit preventing layer electrically connects the auxiliary electrode and the first electrode to control the quantity of leakage current even when a short-circuit defect occurs in the conductive unit.

Abstract: A display apparatus including an auxiliary electrode are disclosed. The display apparatus includes a contact area between pixel areas. The auxiliary electrode is within the contact area. A planarization layer covering the auxiliary electrode includes an inclined surface overlapping with the contact area and an upper surface extending from the inclined surface. A connection electrode covering the inclined surface and the upper surface of the planarization layer is connected to the auxiliary electrode. A light-emitting device on each pixel area has first and second electrodes and a light-emitting layer. The light-emitting layer and the second electrode extends onto the connection electrode. The light-emitting layer exposes a portion of the connection electrode by a reflow pattern, and the second electrode is in contact with the portion of the connection electrode exposed by the light-emitting layer. Thus, a process of connecting the second electrode and the connection electrode may be simplified.

Abstract: Provided are a substrate for an organic electronic device (OED), an organic electronic device, a method of manufacturing the substrate or OED, and lighting. The substrate for an OED may be increased in durability by preventing penetration of external materials such as moisture or oxygen, and thus form an OED having excellent light extraction efficiency. In addition, since the substrate may be stably attached to an encapsulating structure sealing the OED, the device may have excellent durability with respect to abrasion of an electrode layer or pressure applied from an external environment. In addition, a surface hardness of an external terminal of the OED may be maintained at a suitable level.

Abstract: A touch display apparatus is provided. The touch display apparatus may include touch electrodes on an encapsulating layer covering light-emitting devices. An auxiliary line crossing a display area in which the light-emitting devices are disposed may be disposed on the encapsulating layer. The auxiliary line may be electrically connected to a power voltage supply line at the outside of the display area. Each of the light-emitting devices may include a first emission electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second emission electrode, which are stacked on an emission area defined by a bank insulating layer. The second emission electrode of each light-emitting device may be electrically connected to the auxiliary line on the bank insulating layer. Thus, in the touch display apparatus, a luminance deviation due to a voltage drop may be prevented or at least reduced.
